Fingertips has to be one of her saddest and most vulnerable songs ever

Candy Necklace stans let’s make some noise!!!:hair:

That song is simply amazing. I love when Lana channels the « end of the night, in the dive-in bar »!!! When Jon sings along, it’s so magical.
but thank god it wasn’t the first single: LB would have bitched for endless weeks that it’s « another boring piano ballad », although it’s a jazzy piano ballad.

Fingertips and Kintsugi are better with each listen.

(but, NGL, Kintsugi feels a little bit like Lana saying to Jack: « I’m so sorry you couldn’t be part of BB, here let’s make a track together just like that album so you won’t feel left out :xgiggle:)

It's a good album that has a lot of "grower" potential.

Some tracks like Kintsugi, Grandfather or Margaret feel a bit stale although they still are not bad and the vocal delivery/ melodies are really good.

Big fan of the "Side A" part of the record with the more lush, ethereal vibe. I feel like the album isn't incoherent, but it's a shame that aspect gets entirely lost on the second half.

Both interludes are way too long.

The trap influences are nice to have although I feel all of them have been executed in a slightly halfassed way. The artistique value of layering messy babbling and of key harmonies is not really rocking it and I would prefer the tracks to have a bit more focus - e.g. Taco Truck could have been beautiful as a full song.

Just do it. Just do it - don't wait!
