i previously thought hope live was silly but now i see the vision ... she's a crazy woman being dragged off stage by sanitarium workers / male nurses in white outfits and the CIA is trying to get her ... or something like that

Is the presence of the actual CIA meant to insinuate she isn't crazy and the CIA are really out to get her but nobody believes her and she ends up getting killed by them and dragged out on a cloth

i either see it as A) she's alive and being taken to an institution which is why she stays singing or B) the white cloth is like a dead-body-covering situation and she's singing in the afterlife ... now the CIA i still do not fully understand but it is very interview with lana del rey in the bathtub coded. crazy? me?? either she's imagining the CIA (delusional vision style) they're really coming to get her (government conspiracy style) and/or it's an MK-ultra type thing where they're going to do tests on her and see if they can do mind control

I interpret it much like the conspiracy theories surrounding Marilyn Monroe's death, suggesting it wasn't suicide but rather CIA involvement. In the song Hope, I see it as a metaphor for the challenges faced by women in the spotlight, where speaking one's mind can lead to trouble with those in positions of power.
