he produced the soundtrack, which means he is the one who asked & chose each artist to participate - so if it wasn’t for him we wouldn’t be getting an extra song At All

 

ALSO.. his work on soundtracks seems to be vastly different from his personal work or even work for other artists, the way he went about the minions + love simon soundtracks was really quite nice.

also do NOT ignore the way he ate the production on her cover of season of the witch. 

Honestly it's just boring that he's the go-to as far as music producers go

He mostly chooses to work with talented young women and then takes half the credit (he literally gets like 51% of the royalties on many of Lana's songs)

He would be nobody if he relied solely on Bleachers and himself. We only know who he is cos he teams up with talent and claims half the glory

HE'S annoying and I guess some of us can imagine how much more interesting a given project could be without his library of helicopter sound fx n shit

But this has Lana AND Florence so I don't even care about him here

In what is a male-dominated landscape, it doesn't sit right with me that a man comes along and takes more than half of the royalties

Lana's contribution to the art being created is more significant than his and should be reflected in the %

His own art is very mediocre so it's clear who's bringing the bulk of the talent

He doesn't deserve 51%

It's probably more like 65% now

Christopher Rowe was the lead on most of the arrangements on the re-records (non-vault), not Jack. Jack did Out Of The Woods (bc he was the OG producer), but I don’t believe he worked too much on the standard Red TV tracks…
