I don't mind if she does an upbeat country song with ruthless lyrics like in this one  although, I kinda agree with the music critics how they said that the "country music" there is kinda pseudo but it's just one of my favorite tracks ever, I just love the vibes!

hmm interesting... i guess lasso is confirmed country then? i was so sure she was gonna ditch this all together, but having jack say something makes it feel more real. i do love the fact that he's mentioned multiple times how "crazy" and good the songs seem to be shaping up. we know he has good taste.

and the twitter insider said the tentative date is September 20th so it’s all adding up!

well about a decade ago it only took 2-3 months to make enough physical copies for.around the world, so I can't imagine her needed half of February and all of March - August

plus that interview is from February 1st, and it sounds like it’s basically done (he says it’s Fucking brilliant which they’d have to be near done for him to confidently say that). They’ve worked on it for 4 years, and as long as they finish it next month they’ll reach the 6 month window to release!

I don’t think it’s coincidence that both her and jack talked about/announced Lasso within a day of each other. She announced it January 31st and he talked about it the next day in his interview. 
 

I’m not saying the September release date is going to happen (because let’s be real, this is Lana we’re talking about) but I do feel the album is more done than when she randomly announced albums in the past (Chemtrails September 5th RCS June 1st/July 4th)
