baddisease 17,924 Posted November 6 what baffles me is that Trump straight up quoted Hitler and Goebbels in one of his rally speeches by saying "one people, one family, one glorious nation" (they said "Ein Reich, Ein Volk, Ein Fuehrer!") and NOBODY on their side even batted an eye. I don't get it.

Stoned Mary in the Garden 6,786 Posted November 6 The saddest part about this in my opinion is we’ll never get a professional, intelligent, classy president again. That era has been long over. The veil is lifting, and people are starting to realize presidents are just actors in America. That’s what we worship. Money and power. But presidents don’t have much say in laws at all. We were torn between two terrible people. The last time I felt safe and calm was when Obama was president- and even he was mostly an actor. We’re just choosing between two evils, it’s so Hollywood fake. I’m exhausted and embarrassed

The entire system exists to empower the capitalist class and we (civilians) needed to see that long ago. 1 minute ago, TropicoHeart said: and to think that everytime we support her, we support her MAGA husband economically too We all really fell out of the coconut tree if it's any consolation: most famous people don't care.

Well, most of Trump’s fanbase believe whatever word comes of his mouth, not double checking anything he says, so… There’s been an interesting news article in a local newspaper here, about Canadian who supported Trump. None would be considered a « blind follower » but they pretty much all said the same thing: yeah, he says a lot of BS but he is still the best politician out of the two for « traditional values ».

Veinsineon 76,785 Posted November 6 It’s crazy how many people expect the vice president to be such a mainstream figure at this point history. Before Mike Pence I really feel like nobody cared about the VP as their only job has always been to certify the results on Jan 6 and stay alive , essentially… the argument that Kamala didn’t budge enough on issues that affected the administration she was still BOUND to, or that people felt like they didn’t know enough about her….it just all leads back to subconscious double standards. This country was so ready to turn a page. I’m very depressed about this. Fuck hats being able to hand out millions of dollars like voting is some RAFFLE….. a literal science denier is about to gut the CDC. I need a euthanasia rollercoaster ride STAT
