also i do find it extremely bothersome that he was caught liking thrist-traps on tiktok very recently  i know it sounds terrible to say, but that almost bothers me more than him supporting trump, maybe just because it's just so common for men to act like little sex-pests, and for the most part, they get excused for it  like how women are told to expect their boyfriends/husbands to watch porn, despite the fact that they already have beautiful girlfriends and wives... also the porn industry is vile  but perhaps i'm getting off-track  it just bothers me IDK

I fear Lana has been wanting to be married and have kids for so long that she fell in love with the idea of Jeremy and being a wife more than that she allows critical thinking rn. I knew they've 'known' each other since 2019 but be fr. They've been dating for less than that and way too little to decide if living together and actually supporting each other's endeavors is enough to make it.

There's so much redflags she's ignoring, such as the liking the thirst traps, which she wouldn't have ignored in previous relationships. Her dating a trumpie is sadly nothing new though

I think the most surprising thing might be that she’s been able to keep it a secret until yesterday… Apart from a couple of drone pics, nothing leaked. If only her music was as protected from leaks as this…

It really makes me think of the taxi cab theory. It’s usually used for men, but it could be applied to Lana- basically it’s when someone is ready to settle down, they’ll find whoever is available at that moment and settle with them

Yeah i was thinking of the taxi cab theory but in this case it's her that's been ready all along, and the second a man is also ready she just jumps in. I'm guessing none of her former lovers have expressed any interest in marriage and just kept her around for fame.

Conservative/southern men are generally more eager to get married and start a 'traditional' life.

Apart from the trump supporter stuff, this is the part that makes me a little concerned for their relationship. Even if this was a complete stranger I just met and they told me this I’d tell them it’s a red flag. Idk liking things like that as someone weeks away from getting married to one of the most beautiful and successful artists in the world doesn’t sit right with me

I’ve been thinking the same thing. I think she’s been chasing a normal life with a normal husband and kids. I do wish her happiness in the end but this guy is just.. anyways

i feel like there's a fine-line between making observations, and making assumptions, and i don't necessarily think it's wrong to have concerns, since, although she's known him since 2019, it appears that they've only been dating for the past few months (although we don't exactly know with certainty how long they've been dating) and most people would argue that getting married to someone you've just recently started dating isn't ideal and could have very negative consequences, especially considering his views, how do you really know what someone's like if you haven't speak at least several years being together? and to think she could start living with him? and having children with him? getting married isn't just some random, silly thing you do, so it would make sense as to why people feel concerned, at the end of the day, i completely respect her choices, i don't want to diminish her autonomy, but we have the right to our opinions, especially when it's something major, like her getting married so quickly (although you could also say it's none of our business, which is true, yet... she's famous and obviously people are going to have something to say about the details of her life, especially her own fans)

That was Donoghue. Someone on here had proof that she posted a picture inside Jack’s house around April too. It seems like her and Jeremy started dating around May-August.

She looks so beautiful and classic. I hope life pans out the way she would like for it to pan out, regardless of how we all feel about who she chose. I can't say this is who I expected her to choose from a morals/values standpoint based on what she's stood for. Nonetheless, she is an agentic person and I trust that she has a clear idea of what her life ought to look like for herself since she is her own visionary and always has been.

Additionally, lanaboards is literally a forum to discuss things like this. As long as everyone is being respectful, it’s totally normal to be having these conversations
