the OB lead single dropped like 4 months before the record tho didn't it.  Then there was AW. In hindsight, that as a decent rollout. Aw was even announced weeks in advance.

 

and now we got two separate single announcements and got stood up both times. Along with the album delay. But i'll stfu. We've all been through this countless times lol

True but she also keeps saying it’s gonna be a different genres and reworked yada yada yada so I’m kind of buying the “insecure” statement. I’m probably forgetting but I don’t remember her being so definitive about how an album will sound (“going going country!”) and then spending the next year backpedaling. She’s described albums inaccurately I feel like but never tried to rescind her comments. Honestly, she’s never tried to rescind any comments ever lol.

Boring, I’m gonna be seen as a whiny bitch….but I feel Lana stopped giving a shit about her fans, she loves us but doesn’t really communicate like she used to.  It’s slowly been going downhill for some time.  I thought we were all just Impatient and needy but she definitely plays a role in this.

I agree with your assessment of her tenor over the last several years, but I don't think it's fans or stans per se, but just her moving into a different stage of life, getting fed up with the music business and all the extracurriculars it entails (costume design and fittings, concert and festival appearances, schedule changes, band members, national and international travel), and all the impingements on her free time—and LA burning---most people would have gotten burnt out a while ago. She's a very hard-working individual. 

 

She probably has as little perspective on her life as we do, being on the move as she constantly is—she may have sung about walking to the mall, watching tv, and doing the laundry, but I bet she's doing very little of any of those things. She's probably just psychically and emotionally exhausted.

Also, imagine having a 9-5 job, which she's never had to do. She has the luxury to chill in restaurants, drive around, hit the studio when she wants, and make a few public performances per year, none of which are even high profile like Jimmy Fallon, the Oscars or the Grammy's. It's mostly her own audience who's paid super big bucks to see her. Let's not open the waterworks for her just yet. Her life is one of a luxury LA diva, and the millions roll on as long as she makes those 13 songs every 2 years.

Something tells me she saw a lot of the backlash against her new spouse (clearly she did because she and Jeremy were responding to comments on IG) and it turned her off from communicating with us for a while

 

i think she’s feeling like, “I’ve done the LA thing, I’ve done the breakthrough artist thing, I’ve become basically an icon, touring, performing on TV shows, radio performances…. let me rest for a while”
