I wonder if she booked Coachella and Stagecoach at the same time, they are produced by the same company after all. I googled around and acts can be booked up to a year in advance; if it was the case she probably thought Lasso would be ready by the time she was due to be on Stagecoach.

Horrifying to think that given her timelines and behavior for previous releases when we finally do get word from her about this album it's going to be a several week wait before whatever she announces materializes. 

 

I kinda wonder if something happened behind the scenes because surely she planned to have something out in time for Stagecoach? Unless she plans to finally do a Chemtrails/BB focused setlist (praying to finally have a live performance of Thunder or IYLDWM). Can you imagine how pissed people would be if she did her typical BTD highlights set at Stagecoach lmao

I'm sure she'll drop at least a single before Stagecoach. And if she doesn't, she'll premiere a couple singles (Henry included) to release after the performance. And if THAT doesn't happen, we know she'll cover country songs during her setlist anyway. I definitely see her live debuting tracks from COTCC & BB, and maybe her country-esk singles/tracks.

 

Also, if she does sing her typical BTD highlights (which she probably will ) it'll most likely be Video Games and Young & Beautiful since those can be digestible to a country audience. Even though Lana has left us with scraps to feed off of lately, I'm sure she won't disappoint us at Stagecoach

What about the potential resentment some Stagecoach attendees may have that Lana is headlining Stagecoach in the first place--especially with no additional TRPWS news or a single by April 25th? Or even with a single? Because as we know, Lana's singles usually have limited appeal and reach outside of Spotify and the Lanasphere. 

 

If I were a tried-and-true Country music fan, I'd probably be rolling my eyes that Lana Del Rey is headlining such a venue and asking 'WTF? Let her headline Coachella.' 

 

It's in situations like this that people may accuse her of 'jumping on the bandwagon' or 'doing the trendy thing.'

 

Releasing Lasso about the time of her Waffle House waitressing gig would have been perfect. That was the perfect set up for her to headline Stagecoach.
