Mer 64,411 Posted Friday at 03:43 AM I gotta kinda giggle a bit at all this talk of Gaga “reheating her own nachos” and it turns out she reheated some of Taylor’s nachos too while she was at it 3 Quote ⊹ (:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅[̲̅:♡:]̲̅:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅) ⊹ 𓊔 I took the miracle move on drug 𓊔 ⚕️ The effects were temporary ⚕️ ⊹ (:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅[̲̅:♡:]̲̅:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅) ⊹

Anyway, the genre shifts on this thing are whack. We go from Siouxsie & The Banshees vibes on tracks 1 and 2 into full-blown Gwen Stefani on track 3. Perfect Celebrity shoulda followed Abracadabra. Well report once I've given it a full listen.
Glitter Boy 16,711 Posted Friday at 05:30 AM AHHHH I love this album! It really works well. Aside from Die with a Smile (doesn't fit, I never liked it, just included for stream-boost purposes) and Killah, I love everything else. I think my favourites are Vanish into You, Blade of Grass, LoveDrug and Don't Call Tonight, but it's truly a bop-filled record. One of my favourite Gaga albums, if not THE #1 for me. 0 Quote "I'm wild, I'm free, no man can handle me"
Mer 64,411 Posted Friday at 05:31 AM Honestly love this album for what it is. Was not what I was expecting given the visuals--but "How Bad Do U Want Me", "The Beast", "Blade of Grass" and "Garden of Eden" are discography highlights. I really wish the bubble-gum/boppy aspects of this album were also in the visuals, that's my only gripe. The hot pink vinyl color is perfect for this album, I wish the cover matched. 0 Quote ⊹ (:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅[̲̅:♡:]̲̅:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅) ⊹ 𓊔 I took the miracle move on drug 𓊔 ⚕️ The effects were temporary ⚕️ ⊹ (:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅[̲̅:♡:]̲̅:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅) ⊹

sadness is a butterfly 5,797 Posted Friday at 05:37 AM As someone who really loves the ‘pop’ leaning Gaga songs (Judas, Hair, Bad Kids), I really love most of this album. While I like Abracadabra, I wasn’t eating it up for its grunge factor. I think this album does really well incorporate a lot of different parts of her discography. Loaded with bops. Great for spring into summer Across the board, the vocals are giving, she sounds amazing Top tracks for me: Shadow of a Man Lovedrug Vanish Into You How Bad Do U Want Me (Feat Taylor Swift) 1 Quote It's a beautiful life, remember that too, for me. littleredpartydress 49,943 Posted Friday at 05:49 AM Love the singles and perfect celebrity the rest of the album is so middle of the road and bland. They sound like songs that would be used in cuts from scene to scene in a corny CW tv show. While none sound offensively bad, the worst for me is the writing. It’s so uninspired and devoid of any creativity (for the 3rd album running…) sure her old albums have bad songs, but at least they felt unique and creative. Just feels so phoned in at this point anyways super disappointing and mad I even allowed myself to get excited for this after abracadabra, as this is the album I fully expected to get until that song made me think she was coming with something fresh and exciting.

barttttender 5,858 Posted Friday at 06:15 AM Okay, gave it a spin, and here are some comments from a non-Gaga fan. I'm pleasantly surprised by the album, given that I hated the singles (too noisy for me and I just can't fuck with Gaga's 'rah-rah-ulala-lah-lah' lyrical bullshit). It seems Gaga is having fun again, and after her myriad Oscar baits and jazz records, it's good to see her not take herself too seriously. So, here are some thoughts: - Killah is fire! Adding it to my gym playlist. F-ing love Gesaffelstein. Everything from 2:20 onwards - album highlight. - Zombieboy - loving these Siouxsie & the Banshees melodies and deep vocals. Fits Gaga so well. - Don't Call the Night = Alejandro redux, but the bridge at 2:19 is killer. Another highlight. - Shadow of a Man: straight out of Teen Witch or another 80s movie, love it. The guitars at 3 min mark are everything. - Love Drug: fine 80s inspired banger - The singles, Perfect Celebrity, Vanish into You: I will survive the noise and borderline trashiness of these. The Vanish into You chorus: - How Bad Do U Want Me is Swift rip-off next level. The production is solid and I thought I could fuck with it, but no. - Garden of Eden - not feeling this one. Again, it just sounds like Gwen Stefani showing up to do a bad Gwen Stefani song, and completely out of the blue. Doesn't fit the vibe of all the album at all. - The Beast: filler + snooze fest. - Blade of Grass: another meh, wishy-washy. - Die with a Smile: cut that shit out, it does not fit at all. Basically, this record is Lady Gaga doing The Weeknd, and I like more tracks on it than not. I feel like it suffers from bait & switch, in that it promises dark electro grunge but delivers 80s goth disco instead. But that's okay with me because a fourteen-track run of Disease and Abracadabra would legit kill me. Strong 6 / light 7/10.
DeadSeaOfMercury 24,487 Posted Friday at 06:16 AM Zombieboy is killing me. The way 0:30-0:45 sounds so familiar. like it’s a song not too old. it’s the way she sings the verse. I am losing my mind… EDIT: It might be a guy’s song? Does it sound familiar to anyone else?!? EDIT: Spoiler Slightly Sped Up, Pretty Sure This Was It…
Without You 3,028 Posted Friday at 06:17 AM Album is soooo good! top tracks for me are Garden Of Eden (cunty), Zombieboy, & LoveDrug(literally started levitating). Also the chorus of Zombieboy?! it’s so catchy and fun “No I can’t see straight but the feelings right I can be your type from your zombie bite” I love it sm. The entire album is so cunt, smash after smash (How Bad Do U Want Me is still growing on me icl)
