so i bought the target edition of mayhem today but still need the album from her site so i can get both versions with the bonus tracks but they only had 3 copies at target. i should've bought the cd too. 

 

also its extremely weird that the bonus track is in the middle of the album??? what the fuck??

its not weird i literally thought it was so cool that the special edition of born this way had the bonus songs scrambled in the standard tracklist

Honestly, the full mayhem tracklist with CSTH at 5 and KFL at 12 is better than the standart one cause these songs just bring more balance and even make the 80s synth songs in the middle feel less distracting from the main flow (CSTH continuing the darker rock sound and KFL being more like SOAM)

I haven't listened to the album yet, but I LOVE Disease so much... damn. But the fact that Disease got 190M while DWAS has not 1, but over 2B streams on spotify.... that shit is just PLAIN wrong-

The album gets A LOT better when you throw out the final three tracks, put "Kill For Love" after "Zombieboy," and end the album with "Can't Stop The High." 

 

"Can't Stop The High" would have been the PERFECT closer for this album — a song that actually seems designed to end an album. As the final track, it'd work as a thesis statement for the whole record: you cannot stop this party; dance or die; etc. In a way, it'd almost imply you're about to restart the album and go right back to listening. Ending on this track would be a fabulous moment of Gaga giving a little bow and acknowledging, "Yeah, I f*cking did that, huh? Y'all really worked up now. Y'all can't stop the feeling I just gave you."

 

Instead, the album's last three tracks are absolute clunkers and feel hugely disconnected from the rest of the album's sounds
