I would die to see her work in a short ULTRA VIOLENT movie with M.I.A. Seriously 2 of the best visual artists out there and as a bonus the songs from 2 of the best songwriters. Damn give me M.I.A, Lana and ultraviolence together GOD please.  If is not asking too much GOD and you can squeeze Tarantino as the Exec. Producer my life would be complete.

MTE I really think she's outliving her creativity when directing short films. I think she actually makes music for this particular reason only. She's more of a visual artist, the way she writes her songs...it's all visual in some way...

 

aaaannnd there's still plenty of songs on BTD/PE left she can use for those short films.

LOL people here think Lana deserves an Oscar for everything. She's a stripper in a music video (with songs we've had for over a year) that will likely run 10 minutes too long. I don't see a golden statue for that.

 

As for the EP, I wouldn't expect Tropico or Surf Noir to end up being some outtakes or anything. i think they were likely tags used for her teaser video.

 

I've been wondering why Lana releases shitty remixes instead of actual b sides from the sessions, but I guess i'm just greedy
