Anthem 1,557 Posted December 11, 2014 Who on Earth works on the 25th and the 31st? the commitment here Nah jk but I look forward to this! I am just going to post the images that might possibly be used on the 25th for everyone to look at/give opinions on/decide whats best, and we will have until the 31st to decide. Shouldn't be too demanding as nothing will be physically printed out or anything Happy Frootmas? 1 Quote Goddesses don't speak in whispers. They scream. Lad 8,797 Posted December 11, 2014 I don't want one but I think this is a cool idea! Just some things: • I think the backcover should be the one we have as 'official'. It is not confirmed as official but it came from reliable sources (lanadelrey.fm admins I think??). But, it is MQ so it'd look weird when printed so idk • The font cover is 'Impact' if you have Windows it is already on your computer! • Oh and titles are 'Mermaid Motel', 'Gramma (Blue Ribbon Sparkle Trailer Heaven)' and 'Raise Me Up (Mississippi South)' I think you already know it but they're mislabeled in the OP so yeah
Mind Melt 10,090 Posted December 11, 2014 What image would you want for the back cover? Just a standard back cover, like the back of BTD, with the track names & stuff. What would you prefer for the CD packaging? I would prefer a Digipak just to keep up with BTD & UV but I also don't really care either way What would you prefer for the CD label? Album name Old style vinyl lookalike What would you prefer for the CD songs? Gapless What would you prefer for the album booklet? All lyrics – like BTD/P Anything else you think should be taken into consideration? I don't know too much about making booklets & such, although I have been looking at templates recently, and I believe that the pictures you use have to be a certain size. Considering I don't really know what the current sizes of all the pictures that we want to use vs the smallest size they can be for a booklet, we may need to switch some of them out

GangstaBoy 3,930 Posted December 11, 2014 The back cover should be the one this other guy created for the digi-pack, it was really nice. Just saying...
longtimeman 8,188 Posted December 11, 2014 I'm in. I will go with what everyone else thinks (but agree that the version in the other thread is beautiful). I wonder if this will be an easier project to pull off if the actual CD is not included.
Anthem 1,557 Posted December 11, 2014 • I think the backcover should be the one we have as 'official'. It is not confirmed as official but it came from reliable sources (lanadelrey.fm admins I think??). But, it is MQ so it'd look weird when printed so idk • Oh and titles are 'Mermaid Motel', 'Gramma (Blue Ribbon Sparkle Trailer Heaven)' and 'Raise Me Up (Mississippi South)' I think you already know it but they're mislabeled in the OP so yeah Thank you! I will fix those titles. I didn't include (Blue Ribbon Sparkle Trailer Heaven) on purpose because I wasn't sure if it should be part of the title since most fanmade stuff leaves it out (as opposed to (Mississippi South) which is always there and I was just lazy not typing but will add right now). Any thoughts on adding BRSTH to the end of the Gramma title? I see lots of you like what the other guy made. If that's what you guys want we can just try and make something similar (I know the lyrics were wrong on at least one page though and may not use the exact same pictures). Just fill out those questionnaires. I'll likely end up making both digipacks and a very few jewel cases since all of my other Lana albums are in jewel cases and I like uniformity. One thing that I find pleasantly surprising is most of you want the album gapless. That's totally fine (preferred for me) but I will need help getting the actual track for it. I either need someone to compile one 40+ minute long track or send the individual ones to me and I'll try and mesh them together. My versions are edited I guess because I can't tell what parts are gapless and which are not. I tried looking on the thread about AKA being gapless but couldn't find anything. 1 Quote Goddesses don't speak in whispers. They scream.
GangstaBoy 3,930 Posted December 11, 2014 I don't get why everyone wants the digipack... personally I'd like a jewel case to fit with all her other albums just like @@Anthem said.

I would want it gapless because I'm pretty sure the 'proper' version is supposed to be gapless, so that way it flows perfectly on a CD, the pause between songs kind of throws it off a very little bit
Anthem 1,557 Posted December 12, 2014 2 Q's. How much are they and how many copies can an individual buy btw bless yall for this They are going to be just cost of materials and shipping, so it will depend on how many I have to make (since some stores offer discounts for bulk) and where you live (I am located in the southeast United States). And I don't suppose I have a limit per person, but I'd rather no one tried to buy a bunch to resell and I also don't know what the laws are about doing stuff like this so I don't want to make so many that I get into any kind of trouble. 1 Quote Goddesses don't speak in whispers. LittleFool 1,912 Posted December 12, 2014 What image would you want for the back cover? I would personally prefer a plain black background rather than a photograph. Plain black, with yellow-beige lettering. What would you prefer for the CD packaging? Digipack Jewel Case Slimcase What would you prefer for the CD label? Album Cover Album name/tracklist (like for the CD singles) Old style vinyl lookalike Other (post a suggested picture) What would you prefer for the CD songs? ilovetati 15,295 Posted December 12, 2014 Bless you for this. What image would you want for the back cover? I really like the one that other guy made as well. What would you prefer for the CD packaging? Digipack Jewel Case Slimcase What would you prefer for the CD label? Album Cover Album name/tracklist (like for the CD singles) Old style vinyl lookalike Other (A different kind of flower like the roses of BTD and hydrangeas of UV...something very tropical) Maybe hibiscus flowers: http://thedirt.areavoices.com/files/2012/03/mex-hibiscus-2.jpg What would you prefer for the CD songs? Gapless Not Gapless (I would pay extra for a not gapless version if everyone else wants gapless) What would you prefer for the album booklet? All lyrics – like BTD/P Most lyrics with choruses only stated once Some lyrical snippets – like UV (or all lyrics with the pictures) Also, I need to help look for bigger versions of those Lana pictures. They would all go together perfectly, but most are way too small. I'm sure bigger versions are around somewhere.
