Oh, you’re totally right! I was thinking about how Carly said she did her vocals pretty last minute, but either way, this tweet confirms that the tracklist itself was finalized at that point.

 

Do you have any thoughts on where Idea 3 and Time & Envy belong? I wonder if, when she said she only did one song with Sophie for the Charli album, she was maybe referring to one of the 5 songs that were scrapped from the final tracklist? Cause idk why else she would say that if they did 3 (or possibly even more) songs during that time

i'd put idea 3 in vroom vroom / early xcxworld sessions

time and envy i THINK was recorded in the very early crash sessions if we consider timeline but it sonically fits self-titled and hifn more so i think it's really much up to you

both 5 in the morning and focus were recorded after the album - focus i'm pretty sure is a pop 2 outtake and i think 5 in the morning was specifically recorded just as a droplet single but i'm not 100% sure on that

I don't quite remember now but yeah stems (most were meant to be mastered) got spread to specific people and then eventually leaked (most of it through a .zip file on twitter saying "good girls don't do that type of stuff" those were the days ladies). I hate it when I see comments saying the reason the album leaked its because ''her fans'' did that like...? if we have the power to scam Atlantics producers so lets use that power to leak Keyboard Funk and the rest of the Mnek tracks like
