This is hard, though I like the songs that make me feel bad over the ones that make me feel good, lol.

Amazing how many people dislike Gramma, I really love it.

Amazing how many people dislike Gramma, I really love it.

You know what's funny? I listened to the entire album after doing the ranking and I was like GOD DAMNIT, JUMP IS SO FUCKING GOOD. I love all the songs on the album, tbh, it's almost impossible to rank them. D:

Honestly this is flawed because I usually don't have strong preferences for songs I just "adore" or "don't listen" I don't really rank

1. Mermaid Motel - every single second of any version is perfect

2. For K Pt 2 - prefer the demo but all are dope the melody is so good
3. Brite Lites - love the demo just as much if not more and the live too but it hasn't always been the case
4. Queen Of The Gas Station - MUCH prefer the two other versions I practically don't listen to album version anymore except when I play the album
5. Yayo - absolutely adore all the other versions and drag me but I live for the split version with Paradise and the duo with Vonnie is so good too, basically the rock one and then the acoustic demo are the best and then album version and then the one where she sings the let me put on a show for you daddy differently at the end
6. Oh Say Can You See - if it's the demo then it's much higher in this ranking, Kristijan's remix made it grow on me so much too
7. Gramma - if it's the live it's one of my favs, if not it's alright
8. Smarty is cute but alright, some parts are really good though
9. Jump (but it's growing on me)

after this it's pretty much all equal imho it's just that I listen some more than others

Not ranking Yayo because hearing it on Paradise before I heard it on AKA messed up my ability to judge it and I tend to skip it on this album.

 

I find it really interesting how much my music taste has changed over the years. When I first started listening to AKA, Kill Kill and Gramma would've been my top 2 hands down. Now, while I still think Gramma is really good, I find it a bit boring compared to the quirkiness and personality of the other songs on the album. The only song I really don't like is Raise Me Up because I find the intro so obnoxious and I just can't get into it.
