I'm loving the new sound! I just wish the lyrics were less repetitive. I Disagree is my favorite album, but I'm happy she seems to be going in this dark pop direction.

Sorry, but I don't like it  Knockoff didn't need to become another Church Outfit 2.0, the leaked version by Fernando Garibay was also so much better…

 

Fun fact: Knockoff was supposed to be a single from Am I a Girl?— Titanic wrote a music video treatment for the song back then, but there were some issues with releasing and it was ultimately scrapped and replaced by X fairly late into the album's development. 
 

Looks like Poppy re-used the exact dance number video concept that Titanic came up with back in 2018, but again, failed to credit him.

Wonder since these are selling fast, if she'll do one more variant , I remember Stagger had 4 pressings too, but that was only an EP (bundles w Revolver mag too). Flux had 3 or 4 pressings. Kinda hope she does a signed version near the release date, for Flux, she only signed the CD inserts and put those with the vinyl (It was the dark aqua + black one, might’ve been the standard pressing.)

I am still so obsessed with Flux.  I know it wasn't for everyone but I think it's immaculate.  I can't wait for the new album I LOVE Church Outfit and Knockoff.  

 

Sorry if it's been addressed recently but is there a master-post for Poppy somewhere?  I would love to start getting into her unreleased stuff

I kinda don't like her album cover. It works for a single cover but I don't think it's drawing me enough for me to consider it as a good album cover. I think it's because she's looking away and her back is literally facing us.

I like "I Wanna Be Adored"! At first I thought it's just a different working title for her underrated bandcamp exclusive masterpiece Adored so I'm pleasantly surprised she has another song with a similar theme. Hopefully the full HQ version leaks eventually.
