Rank Lana's Title Tracks

Recommended Posts

Title tracks, I make the rules:

Honeymoon

Chemtrails Over the Country Club

Blue Banisters

Born to Die

Ultraviolence

Lust for Life

Norman Fucking Rockwell

"You can't be a muse and be happy, too.

You can't blacken the pages with Russian poetry and be happy." - Blue Banisters

Quote

I asked Asmodeus (the demon of lust) to make Miley Cyrus suffer. I am not happy with these new developments. After Miley rips off Lana's aesthetic, she bullies Lana into changing her release date. It is infuriating.

Title tracks:

Chemtrails > Norman > Born to Die > Blue Banisters > Ultraviolence > Honeymoon > Lust for Life

BB could even reach BTD within the album context once it’s out. I’m so happy about this beautiful song being a title track as well.

Ultraviolence=Born To Die>

Chemtrails=LustForLife>

HoneyMoon=Blue Banisters>

Norman

my album title rankings:

1. ultraviolence (its meanings... the literary allusion... the controversy... genius)

2. honeymoon

3. chemtrails over the country club

4. born to die

4. norman fucking rockwell!

5. blue banisters (low bc i'm yet to fully understand it. awaiting the album :legend:)

6. lust for life (would be #1 if it was the original concept w lust for life demo 1 etc. - the album title would be ICONIC if we had to question whether "lust for life" was cynical sarcasm)

My ranking and I'm pretty sure I'll trigger someone...

1. Born To Die (iconic but I overplayed it so much in middle school that my brain washed it down).

2. Honeymoon (I would need to write an essay for this but instead, two words - "dark luxe", search it on Pinterest btw).

3. Ultraviolence (the lyrics gave me chills, the instrumental was everything)

4. Lust For Life (vibey but far less from 1,2,3, tried too hard to make it chart-friendly)

5. NFR (Okay, maybe if I listen it a couple of more times I will like it more)

6. COCC (mediocre, too predictable, the melody is pretty meh, the lyrics aren't special either)

7. BB (pretty mediocre song and pretty bad for a title track and Lana's standards)

I'm fucking crazy, but I'm free

i was the same but btd demo 3 revitalised it for me!

honestly i was a little tired of the born to die album for a while but recently i've been OBSESSED :pray2: it's so flawlessly produced, the vocals & lyrics are gorgeous... i love the evocative, summery feel of the album as well... i could truly never stop loving lana del rey... i always find myself obsessed somehow... she speaks to me like nobody else really could... :pray2: i saw a post i made a while back saying i didn't really like that album as much and i can't believe i said that honestly :icant:

Delete :crossed: Im tired of these tasteless rankings

And btw... Fk off. Cocc is her best released track with Yosemite. Btd is amazing but overrated.
