the thought of her potentially being independent makes me so nervous    as much as I would love for lana to have full artistic freedom i feel like these days she literally NEEDS a giant record label shaped stick poking her until she releases stuff or else we'll never get anything

You guys always want her depressed but she has always said she writes the best when she is happy! And NFR! is her best album imo so her environment seems to have a positive impact on her. In no position to judge her friend group unless there is evidence they are shitty people. Plus a lot of people were showing concern for her mental state with all the instagram posts last month so is this not positive to see?

2020 is a leap year. There was an extra day in February so every day after gets pushed ahead one day. In 2019 Sept. 5th fell on a Thursday. If this was a normal year that day would fall on Friday this year. Lana believes that leap years don't exist and are part of a much deeper conspiracy based on control by the unseen and unknown. Her calendar has Sept. 5th as a Friday. The album will be released on Saturday.

Up to that point there are no musical releases, snippets, teasers, videos, acapella etc. Maybe some more confirmations from Lana and Interscope. Can you imagine the excitement counting the days down to the release having not heard anything? Although Lana can make a mess of a lot of things I have complete confidence in her commitment to recording. Even if I don't LOVE the whole album there will definitely be multiple tracks that I do.
