I haven't processed yet that this is coming in a few months. I deadass was not expecting another Lana record until late 2021. Prolific gorlie.

definitely and i was gonna say exactly this a few moments ago (our minds) - lust for life was definitely the end of her lana del rey persona, it says it all in get free and it was such a beautiful and spiritual outro to the character, with norman fucking rockwell it felt so much more like elizabeth (going into aviation/becoming a poet) this was her getting free (nopunintended) of the character she built up for so many years

Lust for life gave us amazing visuals and... well, personally I don’t think it’s a good record

Born to Die, Paradise, UV, Honeymoon & Lust for Life is what I would consider 'very classic/authentic Lana' titles, but Norman Fucking Rockwell and Chemtrails Over the Country Club is what I would describe as 'New-Lana'. It doesn't 'feel' like Lana to me at all...it seems like a new chapter in her music career and not really tiles I would consider to be 'her'. This probably doesn't make any sense but I consider NFR & COCC to be her 'new' work/perspective/sound

if she fumbles her bag with a title that conjures such a vivid, poignant image then it's truly over
but i have hope (and it's a dangerous thing with this woman........ still a bit bitter about the NFR aesthetic)

we still know so little about the record... we truly have no idea what direction lana could take... to me she's pretty unpredictable

chemtrails over the country club is lana's most evocative title, it conjures up a scene, a place, a posture; looking up to the sky while inside a luxurious building, its not only timely but also feels intimate, within the inside of lana's (privileged) point of view (hence its a country club, not an apartment in the bronx)

i love the title it’s not even camp i think it’s very alternative

I just can't believe we are about to be blessed by another album produced by king Jack Antonoff. We are so lucky and I don't care what anyone says he is the best period.

Feel like the album will sound like "The greatest"

i love waiting for an album cover reveal, its so exciting. almost as exciting as the actual album - covers are soooooo important because you link it to the music everytime you listen to a track and if its a bad cover then well... it kinda makes the era seem off and you start to put the music into a different standard, definitely a subconscious thing

I think it will be, in the sense that it’ll be very stripped down. She said at the Grammy museum that she wanted to keep the “Hope” theme and steer away from NFR.

This being said – Lana clearly has little to no taste when it comes to outfits, styling and overall visual aspects, so her coming up with a bad concept and Chuck just doing what she is told because they're sisters and whatnot might not exactly be ideal.
 
Personally, I'd be here for a return of Nicole Godland. She's still the photographer who gave us the undeniably most iconic and recognisable pictures of Lana, and if she feels the sudden urge to be glamorous again, it'd be a perfect fit.

Chemtrails Over the Country Club reminds me a lot of Mariners Apartment Complex as a quirky and unusual title.

knowing her artist potentially with covers after NFR i’m really excited to see how she’s visualises this, hopefully it’s a portrait and hopefully they actually do a shoot. i have a GUT feeling it’s going to be very NFR urban outfitters. with a title like that i think she has the capacity to be very creative.
 
i can also see it being very honeymoon part two. her off in the distance with airplanes in the sky or something.
