Girl in desperation living a dark and hopeless life falls in love with the bad boy who rescues her from her old life. They're married and she's entirely devoted to him, but he becomes extremely abusive. She accepts his violence and continues to love him, living a fantasy life in her head where everything is happy- she dreams away her life

I think like 85% of Lana's songs are sad but in different kinds of ways- like I would group Disco and Yayo together bc they're both a "desperate" and "lost" kind of sad. Terrence Loves You, Old Money, and Is This Happiness are a kind of "wistful" sad. Cruel World, Pretty When You Cry, and Noir are more "bitter" and "angry" sad. There's probably like a million more categories of ""sad"" her songs can be grouped into but I can't think of anymore rn haha.

but to actually answer the question, I think Yayo feels the heaviest and saddest

i honestly don't think the Love mv is one of her best- to me it aesthetically felt like it was all over the place. I don't want to say it's her worst because it's not bad at all, but I can't think of any of lana's mv s that aren't better than it. I actually like HBTB a lot better than Love....    (just my personal opinion!!!)

When she said that this album is going to be for the fans and follow the same sound as Love I got a little disappointed but I still have faith in Lana to deliver something great!

I also don't get why everyone drags Honeymoon? It's a beautiful album- there are so many beautiful songs and as a whole it has a very solid atmosphere to it. Like yeah there's zero bops on it but not everything has to be a bop to be good!

Anyone else hoping for a National Anthem video part two with this song?

There are so many people on Facebook complaining about how rap is gonna ruin Lana. Like, have you listened to her music before? She's done so many rap collabs and has done rap herself. Even OTTR and NA are alternative rap. My goodness. I wish people weren't so pretentious about music.

Stevie Nicks and A$AP Rocky on the same record.... I don't know how to feel about this, ladies

She kinda does need to step up her live shows. I like when she would put more effort into her vocals, like when she used to perform Million Dollar Man and Body Electric in 2012. Don't get me wrong, I would still die if I got to go to one of her shows since i haven't yet lol

Y'all are expecting her to perform songs that she clearly wants nothing to do with because of their association with her exes and...

    it's not gonna happen.

I feel like if she could, she'd just erase Ultraviolence from her discography the way she did AKA.

she has to come up with something really good in june to at least have somewhat of a momentum for the album, cause lana gurl, this album will be dead on arrival!

and they have to release a better track in june than cherry. cherry is basically lana by numbers. not bad, not great either. or give us simply two other songs before the release and make the best out of the wait.

she is really doing anything she can for an album release to be as anticlimatic as it gets.

    SETP YOUR GAME UP, HOE!

Honestly, what I'd give to experience Pretty When You Cry live  imagine those high notes at the end....

I actually smoked my first cigarette the day I went to see Lana on Paradise tour, post-concert. I got into a small habit of doing it occasionally when clubbing with my friends, but not because of any kind of social pressure even though many of them smoked (but like me, most of them quite rarely). I did it for about a year but I stopped after that because I didn't see the point of taking even a small chance of risking my health even though I didn't chain smoke and like I said, did it quite rarely. It's been 3 years now and I haven't wanted a cig for one bit
I know that some people around me smoke only when they're feeling really, really anxious and stressed out. I don't know how many of you are familiar with Freudian psychoanalysis, but if you look at it on a certain way, smoking could originate from the oral stage of one's psychosexual development. Freud's theories have been largery criticized though as there's no substantial corrabotive data, so yeah it's just a theory

I honestly don't know. I like some of her outfits tho, but still.
I really do miss her look back in 2012/2013, she should go back to that tbh.

I posted this in another thread but in like, 5-10 years she's gonna look like Priscilla Presley (and not in the flattering way)

How did we get from iconic beehives and Jack Daniels shirts to...the endless summer tour.

The only acceptable collabs worth delaying the album by 2 months for are more songs with Stevie Nicks.    Anything other than that can choke.
