Nobody said it's the worst thing ever released in this world, but it is the worst Lana Del Rey album and way below her usual standard.

I NEVER liked the bitch lfl when she first came out I listened to her I was like she's not a pretty girl I was even high but it didn't make the bitch better! I agree that there is a lot more people trashing her now before it used to just be me, the good sister terrence and some others. I think people just woke up, the release hype was gone leaving behind a steaming shit pile of an album some y'all stans have to just accept lana put out some bad work and that's OK!

Um, no we didn't lmao. Ever since it's release we've always been dragging it. Miss LFL will always be the DUFF of Lana's discography. There i said it.

Okay anyways I loved Honeymoon when it came out and still do, can’t say the same about Lust For Life...

Can't relate. I mean I love Lfl (link to post-release here btw: http://lanaboards.com/index.php?/topic/9222-lust-for-life-post-release-thread/ ), but I'm not gonna rose-color it and say that it was my favorite. Gems yes, but the lack of cohesiveness and other things make it far from it. I like the meaning behind the record, but I'm not gonna dub it the Holy Grail bc we all know in any season, HM and UV still and will always exist. 

I mean I kinda wanna laugh at how possibly things'll will end up when NfR comes out, but based from MAC and VB, things to be looking up. Clinging to what's familiar is normal, but I just personally had more difficulty attaching images to Lfl than her past work. 

HM was always flawless tho.

shes technically not that great of a singer tbh, she strains a lot and has enunciation issues I mean she has talent vocally and I say this as unbiased as I can because I dislike her but not in the technical aspect if that makes sense so we really shouldnt put her up there as the standard. Her tone is also rather generic but thats a subjective comment.

I think the reason why LFL isn't my favorite album is because it didn't feel very Lana to me. I feel like the whole political theme ruined it because politics ages like milk (depending on what you're singing about). And I just didn't connect with the album on an emotional level like I did with her previous work.
It's not a terrible album by any means, it's actually very solid. But it doesn't FEEL genuine to me.

Lana's vocals in Honeymoon were better than they were in Born To Die. More high notes, more low notes, harmonies on point, more impressive moments, better control. In BTD, she had more energy but her vocals weren't better nor operatic. Even Paradise isn't that impressive compared to Honeymoon, except for Cola.

I don't understand why people think NFR is going to top UV.

AG is overrated. She's got a great voice but all she does is show off and oversing, which kind of makes her unenjoyable to listen to

For Lonely Lolita: The road is closed, so you have to spend 3 hours more going the long way around.
 
For SuperMegaStan: She goes on an indefinite hiatus without releasing anything.

ok so lana has written a lot of good ballad type songs this era... Jack produced three albums Melodrama, Reputation & Masseduction & no matter how fantastic in the first few weeks of listening, aged like milk in the sun. I'd rather Lana work with Emile Haynes or Dan Heath or anyone who is good at producing atmospheric & cinematic stuff... He'll mess it up. I just know it. Also, his dick has been inside Lena Dunham so we know about his taste... He still flirts with her on Instagram & hangs out with her. Ughhhh, I hate him.. please stay away from Lana mr. man baby

I agree with you about the black hair. It looks terrible on her skin tone. Light Brown is okay and the color she had during Born To Die (reddish honey?) was gorgeous on her. Ombre looks good on her too but black hair fully is difficult to pull off for many people. For Lana it makes her look older and even adds weight to her face. 

Remember when she said she’d release a 25 track album of re-done unreleased songs.....well that was probably the best Idea she could have come up with. Honestly I would take that over NFR. A shame she went to sleep on that idea. I think it would have been fantastic her being ‘Lizzy grant’ blond hair and the vintage footage of herself. Many of her old songs deserve to be remastered and re-released. She doesn’t necessarily need new songs she’s fucking sitting on a pile of them that need attention!

She isnt a singer anymore she is now perfume seller and she is doing this very well. Respect the legend

You guys I accidentally heard a snippet of marinas new song and oh my god I just can’t stand her voice!! I hope they’re not doing a collab (especially for NFR) because their voices wouldn’t sound good together AT ALL
