Sorry if someone has already said this some or all of this. Violet is being released as a physical book on Sep 29th, and Lana said "VBBOTG is being released this month". Today is Sep 1st, so if she is referring to the physical release of Violet, then today is the only day that she could have recorded this message. However, Lana said "before you even see this, you'll have heard another song called 'Let Me Love You Like a Woman'". If Lana did record this message today with the intention of sharing it today, she would not have said this because she would obviously know that LMLYLAW is not yet out. This strongly suggests that this message was not recorded recently. Violet was released as an audiobook on July 9th, so I speculate that Lana filmed the music video and filmed this message in early July or late June. In early July, Violet was coming out as an audiobook "this month", and Chemtrails was also "coming soon". If the music video was in fact filmed in early July, then the video she was filming recently is for the second single, and she should have everything prepared for a Sep 4th/5th release.

weird thought but i kind of find it ironic that sheridan is getting so much hate when, in reality, he's probably one of the only crew members i've ever seen giving us consistent and reliable info about what lana is currently doing right now for her projects? like have we actually ever received this much info and behind the scenes from one person before?

I really do love that all her album covers are a portrait of her, because that’s exactly what her albums are - portraits of her - and everything from the lighting, styling, and mood of the covers are reflective of where she actually is in her life, just translated into her creative output!

okay so this is super unpopular but when i first heard the album title, i thought of dirty agressive psychedelic b&w vibe. not 50-60s yellow pink vintage. i would die for aesthetic like this

While I don’t think it is, I would love if “Contemplating at Costco the Santa Clarita Fires” was a song on the album!
 
A 7 minute meditation that juxtaposes a domestic bliss while romanticizing the mundane everyday (like going to Costco) and the geographic/agricultural/social chaos that arises elsewhere. Kind of like a more politicized version of what we’re expecting the title track to be. 

It starts off with sparse guitar instrumentation and transforms into an ambient, psychedelic rock tune - kind of like a more Jimi Hendrix-inspired version of Venice Bitch! I think electric guitars make for a lot of good word-painting when it comes to fires and a more “heated” atmosphere. That’s why I think White Hot Forever will have some guitar instrumentation that’s glittery and glamorous with some wah-wah elements! 

Also user LanaDelRey was gone almost all day yesterday and Lana was working, coincidence?

Nah. If you give a precise releade date and then change plans, it's not too much to ask that she communicates it. That's no unreasonably huge effort. 
 
No need to over-romanticise this "she's living in her art" stuff - if you follow her on Instagram you know very well that she doesn't.
 
Announcing a date and then not communicating a delay/change of plan on time is a very bad practice. You'd consider it impolite for any other situation in your life. Most other artists manage to not have a huge mess with every prerelease era by having a clear schedule.

Yeah, it felt like bait. There were a MILLION other ways he could have worded and expressed his sentiments but he really made it seem like something interesting was gonna happen. I get it, it’s interesting for him to work with her but he could have been like “can’t wait 2 work wit u again on Saturday” and there would have been no confusion.

A friend of mine is an insider and apparently Chuck filmed Lana riding around in the shopping cart and she crashed into the dairy products, and now her hair is all curdled with milk so she had to take a day off from filming but she'll resume tomorrow so I am glad that the music video is still hapenning
