So, let me get this straight...
 
Lasso, a country album, has been on the works for 5 years, Jack has said it was brilliant, and we even had two teasers! The latest being recorded as early as February.
It was also supposed to be out in 4 months... Now it turns out it's not even finished, (yet it should be by now, considering how long the whole vinyl process takes...) but not only that, Lana also said she has no idea what direction is this album going...
 
At least, she said the songs are more melodic... I take it they're not as wordy, and we're getting more of her classic sounding songs, with normal song structures! Which is good, after NFR/COTCC/BB/DYKTTATUOB

There’s a difference between tepid reaction and “the crowd went dead silent” because even if it wasn’t the reaction she wanted people definitely applauded 
 
I hope when you interview her she gives you a clearer answer

but Lana, imma need you to further explain yourself because no, I don’t know what you mean. I don’t think the album was scrapped because Jack has also talked about it and called it ‘Fucking brilliant’ so idk it would seem odd to completely scrap the whole album (and she just told Elle earlier this month it was coming out this year still). But yeah I have no idea what that whole answer means. I need clarification 
 
I also love how she just makes up things, because people definitely applauded when she said the music industry was going country so idk where that 5000 people being silent narrative came from

her name has become an aesthetic / lifestyle. Where its not even her music and her new music doesn’t even correlate with that supposed aesthetic that people try to project. I kinda love it sometimes because you would really have to love her music to understand the lore.

I genuinely believe it is because Lana Del Rey the aesthetic/idea and Lana Del Rey the artist have become so separated that people outside of her fandom don’t really care about the new music and only her legacy/things from the past

I can’t even be mad at her for not wanting to do a stadium tour, she was so genuine and wholesome when she mentioned it in her speech.  (I do wish she’d stop doing so many festivals though, I’d prefer concert halls…)

I love how elegantly she speaks and I LOVE that she has the choice to do whatever she wants and can say no to things. I feel like her stadium tour wouldn’t be good if her heart wasn’t in it, so I love that she said no

everyone's already said it but most of the time people will be like "oMg 2o12 lAnA" and its just a photo where she looks relatively younger... now THIS photo looks straight out of 2011/2012 like I almost expect her to have her gold tooth on or something  maybe its the UK but she's looking really great I love that for her 

Zach Sang just said he was trying to get her for an interview backstage but it sounded like it’s not happening, but will try to get her as a guest on the Zach Sang Show which is his YouTube channel where he interviews musicians x
