im so for her i adore her but i dont believe a word that comes out of her mouth anymore lmao. i doubt you can make up for the flights and the time off work and the hotel stays ?? not entirely her fault but i DOUBT she only knew she wouldnt be able to perform when it was announced im sorry but nope

she can't plan the shows and not be held accountable for cancelling on hundreds of thousands of fans 
 
fans paid alot of money, so in my opinion are owed a little more than a couple of sentences from ticketmaster

tbh if it's a psychological problem i understand not wanting to disclose it, and even a physical problem - health is a private matter & being a celeb doesn't change that, i don't feel entitled to know precisely what's up. what i do feel entitled to is to something, anything, that shows some professionalism and understanding of how much this situation sucks for so many people & that the decision wasn't made on a careless whim. if she's too unwell to type it up herself, she can ask someone from her team, a sibling, a friend, whoever. anyone can get sick & be unable to go ahead with their professional commitments, but essentially ghosting thousands and thousands of fans as a result is a really bad look for her & her team.
 
edit: personally i was not mad at all when the announcement came; i was disappointed, sure, but i know these things happen & i was confident she'd address it soon on ig and/or twitter. it's as the days progressed & it became clear she wasn't going to say anything that i started getting increasingly annoyed at her lack of professionalism and, frankly, respect for all the fans she let down.

I miss her

We are not ‘butt hurt’. Being butt hurt implies that we are unjustifiably upset, and obviously we have every reason to be.
If she were so devastatingly sick, I doubt that she didn’t know earlier. Cancelling last minute and completely disappearing is plain rude.
No one is blaming her for being sick (which we are not sure of anyway), we are reprimanding how she handled the situation. But it’s ok, I was like you, I used to be in denial refusing to admit when she did anything wrong and I’m assuming that you’re not as affected by the cancellation as many of us are

So my story is:
I had flown into Paris specifically for the concert. Coming from a ‘3rd world country’ I had spent weeks preparing papers to apply for a VISA + booking hotel rooms and tickets in the context of a new economical crisis in the country.
But i was worth it. I was going to see Lana again after so many years (Last time was in 2013 when she came to my country)
And I was SO damn excited. I didn’t care that her shows were lazy and that her voice wasn’t the best lately. I just wanted to SEE her, to be in the same space as her, to watch her move
I was listening to her music nonstop for months to express my excitement
 
And then this happens. It was like a slap in the face. I was so heartbroken.
Not just bc it was cancelled but I’m heartbroken because I lost all the admiration I had for her. I don’t idolize her anymore. But I think i needed this to happen because my obsession was getting out of hand.

i think its extremely disrespectful of her to not even issue a personal statement, when if im honest, i don't even think the email statement was written by her. it's so brief and explains nothing. i know that if she is ill, she doesn't want to be on social media but at the end of the day it only takes a few minutes, if that, to post something on instagram or a tweet.
 
as someone said some fans spent so much money on travel, me included, that we can't get refunded. for her to stay silent is just wrong in my opinion. i know its only been a few days but to feel disappointed and then left in silence is weird.
 
i think something is up with her. i wouldn't be surprised if she's not sick at all seeing how she seemed fine in her instagram posts just a few days ago. i think there's a bigger issue here, be it her being lazy or issues arising from vaping. she really needs to address this properly to reinstill peoples faith in her honestly.
 
i get the feeling she hates touring, and if that is the case, i wish she'd just do these european shows then stop, since people have been waiting for years to see her.

I have no fucking clue of what's going on at all now. It's really stranger than a stranger. And I can see things taking a toll right now. The complains about the show being "not that good", seeing videos of her straight-lip-synching (the video for NFR that someone posted pages ago.... she deserves an Oscar for pretending to sing these high notes in the end while just moving around the stage and suddenly singing the last few lines while the backtrack clearly kept the high notes going NNNNN). It's a fucking mess.
 
I'm a defensor between the difference of Backtrack and LipSynching\Playbacking the whole thing. She wasn't Playbacking during LA To The Moon because she was clearly singing over the track or, if not, didn't pretend to while doing choreography and so. It's alright.
Right now what I've seen are videos of her lips moving while the song just goes on. Of course there are moments of singing (the verses... or at least the first verse of the video I mentioned).
 
 
I don't know. Of course she got some acclaim and stuff but tbh her critics aren't only part of USA. If people in Europe really get mad at her, it's just a snap to make her scores go down. (Especially British media nnn).
 
 
If she didn't want to tour, fine, she could have just said NO and created something different like her Festival Tour 2016 for Honeymoon. She seens to enjoy being on the road tho.
It's just not a great look. Wishing her the best and a speedy recovery for whatever she's been through, but she really doesn't help herself.

Also... She doesn't really sing? Nor play. Given the way she nowadays just floats around on stage with a loud backing track... Would we have really noticed if she did the shows half-assedly?

A few days ago, Elton John (72 years old - in the buisness for over 50 years) was performing on stage with pneumonia. Pneu - fucking - monia. 
 
In the middle of the show, medical team jumped on stage, took his blood pressure and helped him. All this happening on stage in front off 100,000 people. 
 
He turned around on his piano and went back to playing. 
 

 
Sadly, Elton lost his voice entirely a few songs later and had to leave the stage. He was sobbing because he wanted to continue the show for his fans but he couldn't. Elton adores his fans.
That very night he went on instagram and left a heartfelt message apologizing to his fans. 
 

 
I'm all for Lana not touring until she is back to the way she use to be on stage back in 2012-2015, but the LEAST she can do is go on twitter or instagram and give a brief statement about the cancellations. This is beyond unprofessional. 
 
If a 72 year old man with pneumonia can do that, then so can she or have someone in her team post it for her on her social media on her behalf.
