Isn’t it sooo good? I love that EP and can totally see Lana blending in seamlessly and melodically with that style 

wow this production is so CLEAN and seamless i can totally imagine WW after hearing this! 

Something I haven’t seen anyone mention is Mike’s work w/ Dermot Kennedy, an Irish folk-hop(ish) artist. I think we can probably expect WW to resemble it somewhat, perhaps more than his hip hop work!

Most of Lana’s discography could be considered “ballads” and (while I love Jack’s production) I don’t think the new songs will be as stripped-back as his work with Lana.
 
I know you love Carmen and that song could be considered a ballad (even with its beats) so don’t worry! <3

You know what I’ve been thinking about lately? Lana (mostly always?) has professional videographers at her shows, and I’d personally love to see a lil Lana documentary of what life is like behind the glamour and artistè (probably more glamour since she is a glamorous person) but it would be a mixture of professional videography, home videos (of her banisters being painted blue), drama, and never before seen interviews. Now that would be an amazing project to pull off in 2021 alongside Blue Banisters the album.

However these songs turn out to be, I am just really happy that Lana is working with someone like Mike. He is a hot mess, and he's super engaging—that's refreshing!
 
I have been listening to his solo work since last night and I hope he gives Lana that psychedelic/synth-y sound.

YES I’ve been waiting for an electric guitar moment  

I love COCC, much more than NFR, which seemed to me to have too many retreads. In fact, at present, COCC is my favorite of all her work. I love her balladry at its best--'Yayo,' 'Old Money,' 'Black Beauty,' 'Terrence Loves You,' 'Yosemite,' 'NAWWAL'---even 'Ride' might be considered a ballad. So while LMLYLAW seemed too underdeveloped to me, if the 3 songs we have coming are in the ballad mode, fine with me.
