This trio-single is still one of my favorite release from Lana :

Wildflower Wildfire is one of my favorite (or my n°1 favorite) song from her, it's so impactful, elegant, and majestic,
Text Book has a unique vibe, fresh, cool and hypnotic (a bright version of the West Coast persona)
Blue Banisters is a strong ballad, (another) one of my favorite, a pure bliss of beauty and smartness

I come back to this triangle of songs very often.
And the covers are iconic for... what it is.

The rest of Blue Banisters (the album) is an instant skip to me

We should stop thinking she replaced song A in favor of song B etc. Mel’s head is random we can’t say she scrapped Sirens in favor of BOTL or whatever. She decided this album the way it is and its kinda of a personal attack that she highkey almost scrapped TV.
we won’t ever decipher this tracklist and, personally, even if the MM3 sessions didn’t leak I think we would get this same album tracklist either way and thats tea

I wasn't waiting for it, I wanted to take a hear and thought I'll skip all the songs, and it's 100% no skipper, I adore this record.

It's like if all characters from a Tim Burton movie were twerking taking poppers <3

Anyone have a source for OG files for the scrapped songs: N&T, Sirens, Garden, Fingers Crossed, Dragons Blood, Synchronicities, old Death, old Void?

I have a fan made edit of Magnets I’m gonna use.

for me because its flat, forgettable and uniteresting as an era, its Just bad honestly some nfr b-sides with questionable aesthetic, im happy shes out of that time in terms of her music
yosemite is the only reason i love it

Because it drops off at the end tbh and overall it's just not an exciting album/era. Definitely some great songs though.

    1. Honeymoon (high sentimental value, this one is my lifestyle)
    2. Chemtrails over the Country Club (Unpopular opinion, I don't know why, this one transcends me)
    3. Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd (Still don't know yet where to rank it yet, but I love this wordy/complicated/wise album)
    4. Norman Fucking Rockwell! (masterpiece, hope is a dangerous thing... was the beggining of a new LDR, wich I adore)
    5. Ultraviolence (cult, soundtrack of my summers since 2014)
    6. Paradise EP (classic original car/daddies LDR I love)
    7. Lust For Life (an album to listen while driving)
    8. Born To Die (overproduced but a classic)
    >
    9. Blue Banisters   (I must say the BB / WW / TB trinity is one of my favorite thing from her (I see it as an EP), the rest is just random, bad or not cohesive)

= I love the dreamy, cinematic LDR

I bought the "white" CD (will fits perfectly with Chemtrails and UV) + The pink "target" cassette (this one is a perfect match).

I have the exact same image.

Swan Song is my favorite LDR song, so deep, gracious and humble (and the production is absolutely perfect). My personnal point of view is that it's a total resignation song, but not a ask-for-help song (it's not miserly) : they don't fit to this world so they have to go. It's the exact definition of suicide (to me), but I love the idea that you read it the way you want, it reveal if you're an "optimistic", or a "pessimistic" person.  Such a cathartic song.

I love anyone who loves Lana. I just hate when new fans discover her through BTD-era and then shit on her more newer work. (But I guess they're more open to adapting than the BTD fans who still complain about each new era after 11 years.)
