I just decided to make this thread into a Princess Superstar x LDR thread as she talks about her time in the studio with Lana regularly.
 
Within the last few days, PS made three Tik Toks about making Maha Maha, Catch and Release, and Golden Grill (She was adamant that this all happened in 2008, and not 2009):

- In 2008, her husband introduced Princess Superstar to Lana, to produce music for, as PS was producing music at the time
- Lana came to her apartment on the Lower East Side, in the East Village in a building called "Red Square" & sang for her 
- Princess Superstar wanted to make a 60s/70s track for Lana, and started with a drum track from Thomas Bradford, and later took it out for Maha Maha
- PS introduced the lyric of Maha Maha, as she was studying at some yoga place

- Lana would always eat junk food and candy bars (M&Ms and pretzels) in the studio 
- Princess Superstar cut up a Beatles sample and had a Korg Synthesizer Keyboard with a pitch slider, and gave an instrumental called "Beatles Funhouse Party" to Lana
- Said "Catch and Release" was about a guy Lana was obsessed with who ran a record label (likely Steven Mertens), but he dumped her for other blondes

- Claimed the 4 songs (Catch and Release, Moi Je Joue, Golden Grill, and Maha Maha) she produced for Lana were all produced in 2008 
- Princess Superstar called Golden Grill,  "Live Forever" originally and wanted to make it a 60s/ 70s James Bond-like theme song, but Lana wanted it to call it Golden Grill instead (both were obsessed with Grillz and Hip Hop culture) 
- Golden Grill sampled a 70s record and used a loop in Abelton Live 5 + added sounds from her Korg keyboard 
-PS put Golden Grill on her sound cloud: 

4.)  Moi Je Joue Summary, Oct. 4th,  2023 - https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT8rdjtBx/
- Again claimed she met LDR in 2008, started working with her immediately, and sampled Moi Je Joue by Brigitte Bardot, as she liked Brigitte
- Lana asked PS to rap on it, so she did it in French
- she is putting it onto sound cloud 
 
*also strange, but PS gets bullied a lot on Tik Tok for reminiscing her career - it makes me sad

I just woke up and I'm happyyyy. I don't care that she won one category based on fan votes. I think that most important of all, this award means the recognition and appreciation of the care and love she puts into her work. From real people.

Honestly out of all the random things she has done - the most random thing that she has done and what surprised me was her selling Ghetto Baby to Cheryl Cole  I remember when I became a stan and read about this, I had to read it at least 5 times to understand and believe this. Like such a random combo

not lana herself, but when they played 1949 (demo) at some random runway fashion show

I still think about her buying this horse for supposedly around 2000$ from time to time, iconic and I would do the same if only I had the money

Gosh I love her so much with blonde, black and red hair… actually her hair I like the least is classic brown

So many things about this look...

 
The dress she bought from some random boutique that shein ripped off so everyone thought she was wearing a shein dress...
The DNC jacket, which she did a whole photoshoot for LDR Village that will probably never be mentioned by her again...
The fact that she wore this jacket, dress, and boots together to accept an award...

The Instagram videos filmed off her cracked-ass phone screen of her screaming at a spider 

her redhead era was amazing though, it suited her so well <3 it might be one of my favorite hair colors of hers  
 
 

Oh, another one that makes me giggle out of confusion is when she dyed her hair jet black near the end of 2015 and then 5 months later began the process of going from jet black to blonde… then after 4 months of going through the lightening process while having 50 shades of red in the meantime, finally reaching blonde, she dyed it back to her classic chocolate brown after having the blonde for less than a month skkkk. Sis had 8 hair colours in under a year. I remember someone asked her about it at the LFL pop-up and she was just like “it didn’t work out! It kept being blorange!” x
 

 
Also on the topic of hair, when she got highlights at a random hair salon in Oklahoma in July 2020 after going blonde in May via lemon juice before eventually going back to brown in November x
