Didn’t she tweet something on the 5th of January, explaining it was delayed? True, Chemtrails could be delayed and she wouldn’t possibly say anything until the 5th... but I don’t think so. Record companies aren’t making a dime out of concerts this year and new albums are a way of making up for it. As for Violet’s pushback, I don’t see it as a regular project since it began solely with her and not Interscope. There was also the holiday rubbery that delayed it. And after that, I figure she got a book deal with Simon and Schuster and got her record company involved, with Jack on-board.
Until now, all the solid and precise dates she gave us with her albums came through. I believe we will get Chemtrails next month, with some sort of news next week (I could be wrong about that last part of course, because nobody knows what she meant in the first place with « surprise release » and if plans changed or not. But... a couple of weeks prior to Violet’s announcement, she posted a picture with the caption « LA who am I to love you », and she posted a video last week with the Tulsa Jesus Freak WHF caption... Maybe I am reading way too much into that one, but I think something is coming).

at literally any moment in this next 7 days she could give us the artwork, track list, preorder and a single. Any fucking moment

Guys, how do you feel about a super mega Violet + COCC bundle/set? Is that even possible?

I really think we will get the album september 5 I just don't think there will be any kind of teasers this time

Now that we know Lana reworked Come When You Call Me America in 2018, are there any chances that some old song will be reworked and make it into COCC? Maybe this has something to do with what that insider from ATRL said that some songs from the album were already known and she reworked some old song

the fact that we'll be getting three projects/albums in the span of about seven months is so awesome and also a little crazy, we're blessed, honestly.

Honestly, I’m not sure I want unreleased songs on COCC. Especially with how she totally butchered BAR in the most horrific way. I can’t imagine what she’d do to Say Yes To Heaven.

I just think that since they didn't give her a grammy for the renown and highly praised album NFR, choosing instead to favour trendy teen music over it, that it'll never happen. It is what it is - at the end of the day, this one particular award show doesn't define her success and never will. 

The grammys are dead to me after this years disgrace

Song titles are not always as they seem. I prefer not to read too much into a song title before I have actually heard the song. 
 
At times, Lana's songs can flow like a David Lynch film where things are not exactly as they seem, they provoke thought and various interpretations.

i can imagine tulsa jesus freak having the same fire and energy as velvet crowbar and tostb, but more sarcastic, and uplifting.

Tulsa Jesus Freak is gonna be Cherry's weird older sister with better instrumentals.

In my head, "White Hot Forever" sounds like it'll have those majestic plucked guitar chords that we hear at the very beginning of Serene Queen with the surfy/glittery folk-rock guitar riffs that come in after the chorus of Andromeda by Weyes Blood - at 1:16.
 

 
 
I also imagine "Tulsa Jesus Freak" to have almost acoustic country-like verses that transition into something gritty and psychedelic - maybe structurally similar to Venice Bitch? A title like that calls for something super experimental and wavy.

would LOVE more 70s rock/folk influence in COCC. 70s Lana is my favorite Lana, imagine her making a song like this (most likely not going ot happen but a gay can dream)

Yeah “Tulsa Jesus Freak” especially gives me kinda West Coast/Fuck it I Love You surfy guitar vibes. Hopefully I’m not setting myself up for disappointment.

ugh yes i'd love something in the style of the flaunt shoot, super vintage and campy is what i need to accompany the album title
 
i want the album cover to be a mix of glam and risky, lana looking really elegant and glamorous but it doesn't take itself too seriously so there's lots of chaos happening around her 

As much I love snippets, finding/listening to leaks, and am obviously an impatient person, I hope when I do listen to her upcoming new music, that it'll be for the first time. I wasn't so excited when first listening to NFR because I basically already had listened to it all a million times over by the time it was officially released, and some of it forever ago due to Lana herself, her zillion snippets. It's of course exciting for both Lana and the fans, but in the end I just think it kills the freshness of the work by release day. It's like a celebration of "old" songs by then - happy they're all released, but the experience is certainly dulled.
 
You know that feeling when you come across an incredible song you haven't heard of before, even if it's from an unfamiliar artist, and it's so good that you just fall into a deep rabbit hole and find even more gems? It's so great and unexpected, and I'd love to feel that way for this.
