yay! I love that name! It was in another book I was reading waay back. the sound of it's so calming and just cool hahahahaha. I'll be honest I haven't really paid much attention to the photos as much in regards to the poems on the other pages and what it might mean yet, but they were so nice to accompany them. I especially liked the galaxy(?) ones the first one when you open the cover and I think there was another one in there.

That and ...Melrose were so beautiful.

I think my personal favorites are Happy, Land of 1000 Fires, Sportscruiser, Never to Heaven, ...Bedroom, Paradise is very fragile, in the hills of Benedict Canyon.

i'll be honest pas the bushes, I think I know what it means to say, but at the same time, it gets me a confused in a way, not sure.
Melrose. that's a really great one, and I like that one too. Thanks to the Locals, ngl I like it, but at the same time I refrain reading it too much bc well, it just gets me thinking sad and ah ya probably know how it goes hahahahaha

and mm what did u mean by placement, like, order, or the actual words? bc I thought it was interesting too how she typed things in a certain way, and the word placement made the poems flow easier imo.. I loved most of her stuff, but some lines reminded me of some of her songs, or some of her colloquialisms made me think a little too ngl

and I think that was really thoughtful for her to do, it's really cool to have something of ours as fans to be put in the same book as hers. not really sure what to do for it though, but regardless, a really cute gesture.

I think my favorite as of now, or more so at the moment's LA and Happy. It's just hard to choose which is the one favorite ya know? they're all so good for different reasons. or like, the audiobook? I think the dreamiest one is Quiet Blue Waiter, that was so good to listen to, so lulling.

it's so funny to me that the girl wants to play the victim once she's called out and brings up her tattoo like that grants her some sort of protection lmao. lana really doesn't owe anyone shit for the way she's been treated the last few months, she deserved to get called out for the mask but she literally gets called a trump supporting white supremacist karen every fucking day just for breathing even by the people who "support" her so we can't act surprised when she finally snaps. during her complex interview in 2017 she said she doesn't care about losing fans and why should she? these people think celebrities are their friends and they can just say whatever they want to them.

This is so funny for me on a personal level. Like...  I'm not gonna say anything else on the subject, but just know this is the best thing that has happened that I've witnessed for the past several weeks x

i really love this song, it reminds me of Love song, which took a really long time to grow on me, but this hits hard

True! To me it's a mix between Love Song and FILLY (cd/vinyl version). Very intimate, deeply in her feelings, doesn't really have a resolution lyrically. I love it so so so much.

same skkkk I hate it bc NFR is such an amazing album, but I can rarely bear to listen to it because it makes me too upset - certain songs especially, but really the whole album. It just takes me back to a really bad place. This new song makes me kind of sad too thinking abt everything, but I don’t want to ruin any more LDR projects for myself so I’m trying to listen to it in a good headspace because it really is such a beautiful song x

Will we still love her? Can we allow her to change and grow and stay along with her for the ride? The song is beautifuuuuullll, the video radiates love and also heartbreak (not unlike Video Games, really). A Lana classic - it’s a thematic continuation of Young and Beautiful

There's nothing I love more than angry (former?) stans whining and bitching about how bad the music is once it (finally) gets released. It's one thing to prefer a song over another, but Lana doesn't make bad music. Y'all are clowns.

You do realise that a song can sound mediocre but has a deep meaning to someone, making it a favourite for them

just heard it. it's cute, but I'm always expecting something like Ultraviolence or Honeymoon. I think I'll have to get over the fact that those albums are unique. she's been repeating herself since Lust for Life. and I don't think we'll ever get again something so raw like Ultraviolence or so dreamy like Honeymoon. I actually wanna kill myself but ok

Personally I'm getting major ~classic Lana~ vibes from this. I thought it would sound like a NFR but it's a bit different to me. The instrumentals are mellow but still quite nice. I'm glad she's doing less of the talk-singing she was doing on NFR.

Don't really want to get into the whole mask debate (although I do think it was dumb of her to wear that mask.)

But I do want to clarify/perhaps add more info because I've seen people saying it got shut down by the health department. I'm not absolutely certain, but I don't think this is true. I was at the event and heard one of her managers (or B&N employee? not sure who it was) say after the Q&A something like "Thanks for coming everyone. Now Lana's gonna go back into a room (separate from all the fans) and sign some more books. We've gotta wrap it up before the Health Department shuts us down."

I'm thinking that this was said more jokingly/as a preemptive attempt to not have a mob of people follow Lana as she went off to the isolated room. And probably someone thought they said the health department was actually shutting it down, when really it was like "OK we have to end this to follow covid precautions."

That being said, I didn't stay long past the Q&A bit, so something else could've happened later but I doubt it because as far as I know she just left to that room to sign more books

Honest though I am SO disappointed with that mask. I don't care if I catch hands, even if they were social distancing and she wasn't going to get closer to the fans and she had tested negative or whatever else, it just still feels so unnecessarily controversial and y'all can tell me it's just aesthetics, it bothers the hell out of me.
