Right like I could MAYBE understand the frustration if it was an ad with a countdown that you had to wait on, but all of this shit over something that takes 1 second to hit X on is ridiculous. It caught me by surprise the first time it popped up, but you can X out immediately and be dropped into the page you were trying to reach. If it's significantly increasing ad rev then you should absolutely keep it!

Perhaps a purge of some of the users from this decision would be worth it in the long run after seeing some of the people that have joined in the last few years
