Church basement romances, yeah, I've cried Spilling my guts with the Bowery Bums Is the only love I've ever known Except for the stage, which I also call home, when I'm not Servin' up God in a burnt coffee pot for the triad Hello, it's the most famous woman you know on the iPad Calling from beyond the grave, I just wanna say, "Hi, Dad"   uhhhhhhhh are we listening to the same songs?

i swear i've said this like forty times, but i don't want any massive bangers. i like that she's on her leanord cohen narrative style of song, with the simple instrumentation. everything we hear from nfr convinces me she's evolved so much as an artist.

that being said, lana, you need to drop a date or something. i'm going to die without a solid date

This is coming from someone who hasn't really cared about Lana's absence due to my own life being busy. Honestly, Lana is changing. I may just be pulling this out of my ass, but most of the songs she's been teasing/released could really belong in an adult contemporary album (I've always thought Love was the first one to really have this sound), and I think it's because she's getting older. I also think she's trying to distance herself away from the tumblr reputation she's had all these years because other people didn't take her serious because of it. NFR (title song) really reminds me of Fiona Apple's songs, such as Why Try to Change Me Now. The moment the strings start to build up is absolutely breathtaking by the way.

Norman Fucking Rockwell is not scrapped... It was one of the most highly anticipated albums of the year, she's worked with Jack Antonoff who came off the back of huge albums like Melodrama and 1989 - Interscope isn't going to scrap this material.

The three singles we got were well received and some of her best in a few years, plus her cover of Doin Time is doing pretty good which shows she still has commercial appeal.

The problem here is Lana and Lana only.

I propose we all stop posting when we reach page 2019 as a protest for the beloved album that was meant to be released this year but never will

Just release the album and then go get your tea with your mom "baddie" friends and call it a day. People will stop asking for it and she can live the boring LA life she wants. We all win.

People can't choose which country they're born into. Lana chooses to attend a church like Hillsong.

Give her some privacy and space. Unless she publicly addresses or even promotes the church, we don’t have any right to attack her
