i also don't get how serene queen won leak of the decade? it's a great song, but it really should've been something like fine china or life is beautiful, songs that we've waited for years, i remember when life is beautiful leaked, this entire forum had a collective collapse it was the most elusive and coveted song of all, so many of them were, but now we have a lot of them (i talk to jesus, living legend, wild one, life is beautiful, unidentified flying bill, crazy for you, etc.) it's a little bittersweet earthquakes and pink champagne, here we come!
Hello, everyone! It's that time of year again! Our annual Lipsters Awards is our site's own awards ceremony where we all come together to honour the best of the best (and the worst of the worst.)
This year, we're having a very special Decade Edition of the Lipsters Awards as not only has this year been the decade celebration of Lana Del Rey's debut album, but we also celebrated a whole decade of LanaBoards together! There will be 9 extra special award categories to honour moments we experienced together over the past decade.
I look forward to hosting this year's annual ceremony with you all again! I always await our Lipsters Awards every year, and love how we can all come together to have our own special day all about us. Sometimes a thought isn’t worth a thread post, and that’s okay! The recipient of the Status Updater award is the one who makes the best use out of our Status Update feature to let us know their thoughts for the day, their favourite new tunes, their drunken rambles, and the like. (& with the abundance of new threads being created this year, I thank the ones who utilise this feature when appropriate instead.)

i genuinely love chromatica (did not love joanne tho had a few tracks i like), esp bc it helped me deal with so many hard feeling in early covid.
i think the level of fame she lives in/with has seriously traumatized her and created lots of problems re her friendships/intimate relationships etc. but imo she still has IT– saw both the jazz/piano show and chromatica ball this past year and both were phenomenal, very different but both perfect.
Okay sorry but Dawn of Chromatica is even worse than the main album and that's that on that. Literally I only think 5-6 remixes are listenable and only the Free Woman, 911 and Plastic Doll remixes are actually good. The rest is garbage.
