if i see another smooth brain take abt how the mask has a transparent layer underneath, i s2g. she's a grown ass woman who knows full well what she's doing, she can take -and deserves- the heat.

there's a difference between acknowledging & condemning her reckless driving - which i did in the post u quoted, ty for cropping that out for max self-righteousness - and pages upon pages of frothing at the mouth sanctimony, which is where the ~cop in ur head~ comes in. but do you.

"Loneliness is the human condition. Cultivate it. The way it tunnels into you allows your soul room to grow. Never expect to outgrow loneliness. Never hope to find people who will understand you, someone to fill that space. An intelligent, sensitive person is the exception, the very great exception. If you expect to find people who will understand you, you will grow murderous with disappointment. The best you'll ever do is to understand yourself, know what it is that you want, and not let the cattle stand in your way.”

yes, reckless driving & wearing ineffective masks are bad, those are facts. no one should do either & that most def includes lana.

    1. She looks hotter than fire. Gorgeous.
    2. Cruisin' down the coast goin' bout 99 is a great lyric but a bad life strategy.

These things are not mutually exclusive.

Woooow so you're an expert on cars, a Lana Del Rey-insider, your father is a Grammy nominee and you're a pro at making up excuses why Lana can't possibly have met Sean. Colour me impressed!

I'm gonna take a wild guess here and say that 'Tulsa Jesus Freak' is a direct jab at Sean Larkin because it sounds quite derogatory, but also both Lana and Jack confirmed they were working on her next record, and they seem to like to goof around. I honestly picture Jack filming Lana dancing randomly in his car, more than I picture that 40+ cop doing very that.

I don't think that a lot of my twitter mutuals were big fans of lana before 2017 or so because they pretend like 2020 is the first time lana's been problematic. honey no. Prior to LFL, she (some of these are alleged) romanticized lolita, filmed a r*pe video, culturally appropriated in Ride and Tropico, admitted that she glamorized celebrity deaths, portrayed the Jonestown cult in Freak, lied about plastic surgery, used being poor as an aesthetic, among other things

i hate the production of the entire paradise EP & for that reason it's literally my least favorite thing from her entire discog, so i guess there's that

i've said it before & i'll say it again, blonde hair washes her out a lot (unless she's wearing a ton of makeup to compensate). i totally get the desire to change tho, so do you, Lana bb. also,

I hate the idea that no one can post ANYTHING other than tragedy. As a black woman, I've been having a hard time mentally and have had to take several social media breaks because every time I'm on them, I see black people dying/hurt and police brutality and NOTHING else. It's extremely traumatic. Obviously, I think people should be talking about it and posting resources, but the idea that you can only post about BLM and the riots or else you're a bad person is actually pretty harmful, imo. The way people are policing (no pun intended??) social media right now is scaring me.

sorry, but that expression really irks me. maybe it's just a phrasing issue and not what you actually meant, but it implies she should just settle and be subservient to her boyfriends in order to keep them.

ACAB aside, not everyone's lucky to find a compatible person that one's happy with in the long run. i admire her for taking her time & getting to know these guys (which is what dating is for, after all) instead of stringing a couple of failed marriages by her mid-30s like so many other celebs, just because she's "already" 34.

if she were a politician i wouldn't be expecting anything, i would be demanding it: a clear statement & immediate action, to be precise. that's absolutely not what anyone's expecting from lana.

let's not pretend like we, who regularly frequent lb, don't care more abt lana than on a strictly musical basis. after all, i've never spent my time on any other artist's message board reading abt how their music relates to their presumed relationships, so i'm obviously not checking or care whether those other artists posted abt this issue or not. i care in lana's case, which is why i'm here. if you don't care abt her stance on fundamental issues, that's your prerogative, but don't act like that's where the rest of us should draw the line.
