It looks very good, imo, I do miss the lavishness of most of "BTD" era's videos but at least it seems there will be some sort of narrative in the video (there was in Shades of Cool, but I dunno, didn't really like it that much, but that's personal ..) Edit : I also get "Tropico" teas, with that dress, especially the veil, it resembles what she wore on the Tropico cover ... I also like the sort of Latin vibe going on, with the fauna that surrounds her, fits her little spanish lines ..

I hear "Lay me down" in "Ultraviolence ! Maybe she liked that melody and used it as a sort of leitmotiv throughout the album ? Cause I also find the introduction to sad girl to be a variation of that segment (the first few notes of the "military" introduction

And a complete visuals DVD Featuring music videos for each song and footage of the making of of the album !

I downloaded Most of Lolita's soundtrack by Ennio Morricone and it's beautiful, makes me think of OTTR (the violons end) ..

Same here ! I love a lot or tracks on Ultraviolence but BTD will always be my fav (the songs, the look, the videos, ...)

And they're TRICKED, because they're collection of moments we hold dear, (moments we passed together) and combined with Lana's melodies, they want to dig a little deeper so I "casually" offer them a copy of BTD/Paradise Edition and BAM ! You haven't heard Mariah Carey remixes, then .... I don't mean "sped-up-vocals-on-EDM-instru" she has them of course, but she often takes a bit of her song, usually the chorus, and then builds a whole new track around it, usually infusing a well chosen sample in the mix. Out of topic, really, but I've never seen an artist do that before, I find it very interesting. Back to the remix! How can I put that nicely ? The instrumental is ... It doesn't add anything new to the song, imo.

Well it's not exactly "misheard" but I thought that when she sang in West Coast "His parliament's on fire and his hands are up" she described a very romanesque-y scene, where she would have been the companion in crime of a very important man (hence the Parliament) and the fact that that building was on fire made me wonder what kind of crime they had committed, and the police was there ("his hands are up") etc etc... My fantasy was really fed with those few lines and then I read that recent interview (don't know which one precisely) where the journalist describes Lana smoking a Parliament. So it was just a cig. Meh ...
