i had to sit with the album to really digest it. i wasn’t expecting the album to have such a…mature, retro soundscape but im kinda not mad at it! you can tell every song has her signature musical references all over it which i felt she abandoned for a while. it feels authentically gaga in a positive way and feels like a summary of who she is right now, even if it isn’t exactly to my taste musically.
 
definitely her best album since artpop imo!

I never hated Artpop once in my life. It's such a monumental work and an opportunity for us to explore her mind, she literally said "free your mind - artpop" but these people werent ready to be free back then i guess
But anyways, we deserve Partynauseaus, Bitch don't kill my vibe feat. Kendrick Lamar and Red Flame / ratched feat. Azealia Banks instead of Jewels n drugs, this song really weightened down Artpop for me.

She was so sweet on Hot Ones. I honestly would hang out with her, and i dont care to do that with a lot of artists i like. 

Artpop was so overhated!! Always has been my fave!

I’ve noticed that people often confuse disliking bad music with hating women. The “only liking electra” thing is so dumb considering the general consensus has always been that her first 3 albums are good and she fell off bad after that. Perhaps they should push “Y’all only like Marina and The Diamonds” as an argument, cause I’d actually agree with that! Love Marina and The Diamonds! Idk about MARINA tho.

The fact everyone on twitter is trying to make out all the hate to be “hating women” “wanting her to be depressed” “only liking electra” like….?????? maybe the snippet just sounds like shit from a butt?? 😭 it’s really as simple as that… 
 
the i-have-to-like-everything-my-favorite-artist-puts-out stans are doing way too much….. i saw a few tweets saying the snippet sounded just like mowglis…. like omfg…. we need a worldwide hearing check NEOWWWW

anyway, the snippet is kinda giving Photo ID by Remi Wolf and Portals. i'm living for it! i don't think childlike vocals automatically make it a bad song. there are plenty of other artists that have done the same thing. 
 
but if this means she'll lose fans, well then it'll be easier for me to get tickets! i'll take it.
