Just noticed that she mentioned "Atlantic Group" in her missdaytona tweets, google gives me this:

    ATLANTIC GROUP (:II) -
240 East 31st Street, In the Sanctuary,
    (Betw. 2nd & 3rd Avenues) 10016

which is an open AA meeting.

I understand where everyone is coming from. she does have a past of using latinx culture as an aesthetic. and brown men and women who wear cholo/a style are often associated with gangs, drugs, violence, where she can do it and be trendy and fashionable. I don't think it's worth getting super heated over, but it's just an observation into how celebrities are able to pick and choose aspects of minority cultures for their own liking

She could be wearing full out chola attire with a bandana top, black lined lips and everything and we could sit here and talk about how bandanas are actually from India and eye liner and hoops are from the middle east and a various amounts of culture use these items in different ways. Almost anything and everything could arguably be from various different cultures. But if we use a little common sense it's obvious where ms. Del Reys inspiration is coming from

If she can't remember the lyrics or gets tripped up on them, she should consider a teleprompter.  Take a queue from Matt Berninger of the National - he uses one and their concerts are incredible, and different every night.  There's a lot more spontaneity and he definitely seems more comfortable on stage.

I haven't watched the video yet but The National???  My favourite Sad Dads???  They're one of the best live bands currently touring, if anyone has a chance to see them go for it!

the whole song is great, but 3:53 onwards is NEXT LEVEL. i've never heard so much emotion and pain in a voice before + this part of this song is what made me fall in love with Sufjan. for context the song is from his Christmas album and is about how he left the door open on Christmas day, his dog escaped and he later found it dead in the snow    i have cried many times while listening to 3:53 onwards

Say what? You can't even fly direct in that time, let alone drive on a black motorcycle. Take it from someone who has spent a lot of time looking at Detroit->Vegas flights lately.

edit: Is this another case of people on this forum not understanding time zones?
