Okay, so here are my thoughts on Black Bathing Suit and a bit on Wildflower Wildfire:

Black Bathing Suit is a journey through Lana's feelings during spring-summer 2020, and maybe even earlier in the year. It's clear that certain lyrics are in relation to things like the public response to QFTC, the absolutely vile comments people were making about Lana online, and what I think is the most interesting aspect of it all: the backlash Lana got on Mothers Day in 2020 for not posting about her mother, but rather making a post about why it can be a hard day for her and others (that whole situation pissed me off, but we don't have time to unpack all of that). I never knew if Lana had seen the hate from that post since she never addressed it, but it's clear to me through this album that she did. She literally says in the second verse of WW "You say there's gaps to fill in, so here, here's the deal..." and then the lyric about her mother. It was like her saying "you really want to know what I've been through? here you go". It's something that's so heartbreaking to listen to, but I think that for Lana, it felt important to say.

So more on BBS. Another lyric I want to highlight is the "your interest really made stacks out of it for me, so thanks for that", which I think is kind of sarcastic. Obviously NFR did fantastic in terms of sales and reception, so she's saying that the public's interest in the album really "made stacks" out of that album, but then we get the flippant "thanks for that" that we also get in Arcadia. It's not a genuine thank you. It's Lana being frustrated that despite people loving that album, they went right back to hating her just months after (I'm not getting into QFTC right now, I'm more so talking about the body shaming and general bullying that went on). And I think that the "you don't know me any better than they do" lyric is super interesting as well. There were a lot of assumptions being made about Lana around that time, so it's her saying "you don't know me any better than the rest of the public does, so don't act like you do". The whole song exudes this perfect mix of anger, vulnerability, confidence and a hint of sarcasm. She gives you that not only through her lyrics, but through her production and vocal delivery on the song. It's so smart and so creative.

Most of Lana's streams are coming from NFR and BTD (and BB right now) from the GP, so the reason why Honeymoon's streams are lower is because it really is mostly or even only fans streaming it  Honeymoon deserves so much better

I don't think this album is about Clay just for the simple fact that most of the album was made before or right around when she started dating him. Like I said, I think he was mentioned in Blue Banisters, but that's it. Most of the album to me isn't about her romantic life in particular, but rather how that translates into the other aspects of her life. Songs like Text Book and Black Bathing Suit are so interesting to me because they do that. They take something like a break up or relationship struggles and make it into something bigger. They're able to convey such a complex story. Listening to Lana talk about how the breakup with Sean impacted her and how it inspired her to write Arcadia put the rest of the album into a different perspective for me. Even when Lana's not talking about him specifically on a certain song, she's talking about her life after they split and how that impacted her. I almost wonder if she added Thunder and Nectar onto the album because she felt like she was back in that sort of point/situation in her life again. Cherry Blossom I think was added because of baby Phoenix and Lana generally thinking more about motherhood, and then Living Legend might have just been because she saw it leaked and remembered how much she loves that song. The whole album is just so interesting to me in that way.

Note: I don't want to speculate on Lana's relationship with Sean or Clay or anything like that because I don't feel it's my place to do so, I'm more so just going off of things she's said and the lyrical content. I could talk about how smart her writing is forever

MGK has said some super fucked up shit, and the fact that she's dating him when I'm sure she knows about it makes me feel weird. Also, she's just generally given me a super weird vibe for the past year or so. That one GQ article where her and MGK talked about their relationship gave me secondhand embarrassment for days

There's quite a few celebrities that I don't like regardless of their music. Some examples that come to mind are Camila Cabello, Marilyn Manson and Justin Bieber (although I honestly don't like any of these people's music, they were just the first ones to come to mind for me). I'm very in touch with people's personalities, and when a celebrity has one that I find to be off-putting, I can't say it makes me fan. Especially if that vibe comes from them being racist, homophobic, transphobic, etc. Also, I'm not really into current pop, but I honestly don't have an issue with most of the people in that genre even if it's not my thing. I say have fun, make your music and collect your coin

Oh my god, and I know she's not a musician, but Megan Fox. I can't stand her anymore. Which makes me so sad because I absolutely loved her up until this year  That retched excuse of a man she's dating is so much worse, though and he is a musician. He is literally everything that I could dislike in a person wrapped up into one.

Black Bathing Suit to me is more so about the public's perception of her and her feelings towards them, and even her feelings towards herself. It's not a song that talks to a romantic partner specifically, in my opinion, but rather expresses that she would like one. But I can see how it could be taken as being about Clay. The only songs I think on this album are about him in some form are BB (him being the "man that's still right here") and maybe VFR depending on when she wrote it, although at first I did get more of a Sean vibe from that song.

I feel like she craves normalacy and she seems to enjoy looking after her pets (going from the description of the chickens running barefeet in her Instalive), so I reckon she probably does it herself.
