i've been obsessively watching lizzy grant live videos for the past 3 hours for the first time in a long time for NO REASON and then i was like ok i need to stop and i logged to my insta and i saw her announcing this shit as sparkle jump rope queen 

It seems Openstage (the host site) is meant to help artists "reduce [their] reliance on social media" – that, paired with "this will be the official source from now on", makes me think she'll cease use on Instagram shortly...but it's kind of exciting - also manifesting everything under the sun (AKA re-release, unreleased album, and tour)

To be fair, it’s not like they haven’t used OLD pics of Britney before. The cover of Pretty Girls is a composite from her 1999 Rolling Stones photoshoot. Britney has told is that she is sick of photoshoots and having her picture taken so it makes sense that she’d choose an old one that she feels beautiful in. I’d also prefer a newer pic but it’s her choice.
 
As for no live performances, promo, etc…, she’s said a million times that she’s done with the industry so why would she? Making the music and being creative is the fun part so I don’t blame her for only doing that. She’s told us how live performances can be draining and how promo like interviews stress her out and how interviewers have treated her badly. I guess she just wants to engage in the fun part of the industry while using her name to pick up the slack in the more taxing parts of music releases.
 
I don’t think it matters when she recorded the vocals as long as she has signed off on them which I believe she has. That’s just my opinion anyways

No new photoshoots, no performances, no interviews, no live promotion……. but you believe she went into the studio to record new vocals for a new song? Yeah, that makes perfect sense.

"Sex Talk" and "Thousand Pieces" both being the least streamed songs from FTB makes sense to me. I think she has better outtakes that could have replaced those two.

She really likes recording her vocals with Anthony Preston. He’s an awesome vocal producer that she’s worked with forever. I’ll get started in the studio, get a vibe going, and Anthony will record the vocals. I wish I had recorded her vocal on that. As far as writing, we wrote it together. We’d meet up for lunch sessions in the Valley, talk about life, I’d take notes about what we discussed. She’d ask to change this, change that. She’s the first person I wrote like that with – let’s just sit and chat about life, love, news, pop culture products. Just talk… I’d show her song structures, rhymes, metaphors. She’d shape and edit the lyrics. It was the same with the music. Since the start, I changed the music around. The beat was all dance. But on this one part, “Wheresheat-wheresheat-wheresheat,” she wanted something hip-hop, sparse and half-time. That’s dope. She had other awesome ideas too for “Mind Your Business,” but it was so juicy, it would be great for a brand new freaking song – and this was last week. She’s always coming up with new songs. I can’t wait.

I am a firm believer Will + SOPHIE + AG  forever improved Charli’s writing ability. Just because it’s simple doesn’t make it any less effective. And the Myah/Will song is growing on me

she said as much in an interview, he told her that a good pop song is basically gibberish/meaningless lyrics in the verses and a really good chorus/hook

the way I lost my mind the millisecond my brain processed the album cover like WOOOOW!!!!!!! It is absolutely SHOWSTOPPING! Way, way, way beyond what I was expecting and could have ever imagined.
 
So theres only like 3 tracks im not thrilled with being on the album. But overall I think its going to be her best. There is like something for everyone. I see the vision.
 
This album is literally like…. at the level of a major label album. Like icon status type of album. Im so excited.
 
I preordered both vinyls the cd and a shirt so Cathy if youre reading this Im sorry I listened to the leaks but I told you I would be PURCHASING lmao!
 
but now she is performing songs that arent leaked and arent on the album… so that can only mean Deluxe? Or another album not too far long after this one even? Idk her release schedule is so unpredictable.
