Wow that was a great interview. I am so happy to read about where she is at in her life, and truly feels unburdened and happy. 
 
I could not be more excited to hear this album. And what she shared about Paris and Margaret sound amazing.

Super thrilled to read a REAL interview with her, not some Q&A with a fellow artist. This was very enlightening.

There’s a playfulness, freedom and an honesty about her immediate reality on her new album, Did You know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd. Tracks flow in a jazzlike trance; classic piano and acoustic songs blend into hip-hop, pop, gospel and choral numbers. Colloquial lyrics move as fast as a Beat writer’s poem: they seamlessly speak to a friend about culture, offer mundane updates on what’s going on in her daily life, present notes on dark relationships. But songs frequently, as Antonoff notes, come together with a “voice of God, some joy or hopefulness”.

my alexia just told me the album is coming out on March 10th 

God, I truly wish that were the case. It would be so nice. I’ve been so down and out this week and the last few months. Having something unexpected happen like a surprise drop would really breathe some life into me. I just want to feel SOMETHING
