I don't like French Restaurant that much... I mean it's a good song but besides the verses the melody doesn't have that Lana essence that I love so I can't connect with it.

objectively speaking, it's the wood, its the pose, it's with dogs. defo the same. idk if it'd be construed a homage if the artist's someone who might not be as well known so i get that argument. i think it is great that someone shared it tho bc now we sorta have 2 albums to enjoy. 

conflicted bc originality is originality, like i'd be turned off a little if it was so close and close time-wise, but it is also fluid. let's just hope there's no like disrespect about it. 

Anyone slightly bothered by this, like their is inspiration and homage but this is really just a rip off to be quite honest. Kind of disappointed she just copied Tracy so blatantly

i'm having the worst week of my life, so to treat myself i just put in my order for Ennio Morricone - Passion on 2xLP from my local record store! i'm super into his work. look at this pretty little thing:
and the description of this release just makes me even more excited to pick it up when i can:
so pumped!  i do hope to eventually get the other Ennio Morricone theme releases, but for now this'll do to cheer me up!
 
i'm honestly not sure i'm gonna pick anything up for RSD... i really can't afford it although i never got Chromatica on vinyl and that's my second fave Gaga album, so hmmm......

pretty confusing title ("dawn" implies a beginning of sorts, no? maybe Chromatica At Dusk or Chromatica: After Dark would've made more sense?) and not at all crazy about the cover but im looking forward to this!!

am i the only one who doesn't want any unreleased tracks on the album? like i prefer having a full set of entirely new material
 
example being when the nfr tracklist was posted i was so excited for every song but tnbar i didn't care about being featured at all because i heard it so much beforehand and it's still the only song i skip off the album
 
(one unreleased song featured i'd be ok with but if the entire tracklist was the 3 singles + a bunch of songs we've already heard i'd honestly be super disappointed)
