It's so wild how big she has become. Her streaming numbers are insane and she's literally everywhere right now. I remember hearing Ocean Eyes for the first time back in like late 2016 and I just thought she was gonna be like Melanie Martinez 2.0 with a solid small-ish tumblr fanbase and no big hits, but she's one of the biggest artists out there right now.

Sounds nice, but I was really expecting a tour-de-force of a song. Something so much more than this.
I am also a Billi Eilish fan, I do enjoy her music very much, but this song falls short of what I was expecting from a Bond soundtrack
Anyway, at least its a much better song than Lulu´s - "The Man with the Golden Gun" or Rita Coolidge - "All Time High" (from Octopussy)

can we stop with this shit? you are doing THE SAME THING people did to Lana at the beginning of her career. she's still a teen, have some fucking decency. it's so difficult to be in that position of fame at such a young age and receive all this shit talk from people like you. i know she'll never read your post, but the fact that you go around thinking you, fucking you, know the depth of her emotions. it's so tiring hearing y'all call her fake angsty. most teens are real angsty. 
 
what i'm trying to say is Billie Eilish expresses herself through her art. imagine pouring a deep, intimate part of you into something you love and getting told that it's factitious, that you don't really feel that way, that you're a fraud. do you know how fucking invalidating that is dude? she has done literally nothing wrong. the labels pushed the album, she had probably no control over the release date and it pushing NFR's release. she was 17 how much power do you think execs are giving her? just stop invalidating someone else's feelings. it tells them that "you are not being truthful enough, your sadness isn't convincing, prove you're really sad". stop saying it's fake. not to like being an attention whore, but i literally used to overdose on shit purposely or hurt myself because i was being told my angst, my sadness, my mental illness was "fake". i felt like i had to prove how sad i was. if she's sad, just take it for her word, she knows herself better than you do.

As with the Israel show, Lana might want to reconsider. The UAE and Abu Dhabi specifically have a really bad human rights record and homosexual acts are illegal.

I don't care about the Grammys. I find all these awards shows fake especially since Ultraviolence and Born To Die was so horribly ignored as well as Young and Beautiful. 
 
Two good things happened today. 
 
1. Lana finally gets some recognition for her work after years of being ignored. 
 
2. Halsey had a freak out on twitter today because she got no Grammy nominations. Had a woe is me moment as she usually does. She deleted everything, then tweeted this about Billie, who she has never mentioned before. Some fans on twitter are saying this is Halsey's way of jabbing Lana.

If I'm not mistaking, it was the same concert she had troubles with her voice? I think she really gave her best after the few fails at the beginning in CG and Shades of Cool because in this video, she BELTS and SUSTAINS two D5s which is impressive, and then the G5 was super easy and clear. I hope she realises she has a lot of potential in her voice and she's capable of much more than she thinks, and quits vaping.

I don't think she wants to quit vaping. I think she thinks it's cool and edgy.

I swear the production of NFR is so flawed that you can hear Lana's stomach digest matcha tea in HIAB at 2:24, her fart in HTD at 3:07 and Jack adjusting the dick in his pants while playing the guitar in TG at 3:51

I liked it when it came out but have had 0 desire to listen to it since about October. Meh is how I feel about the album now. It was the opposite of a grower for me.

ummm... the Paradise era was clearly the best.  Ride, Blue Velvet, (bonus track/video) Burning Desire + TROPICO (Body Electric, Gods & Monsters, Bel Air) makes 6 videos for that era.  And between Ride and Tropico these videos were coming straight from Lana's creative vision.  No lazy iphone videos.  These were top notch visionary.  I'd love to see her top this era someday, but it's feeling less and less likely as the years go by.
