I love her so much. She's an underrated vocal legend. I've had her newer releases on repeat for years and never bothered to check out her older stuff until last year. How I was in the WRONG!
Soon We'll Be Found, Day Too Soon, Little Black Sandals, I'm In Here, Lentil, Pictures, Blow It All Away... some of my fav songs ever

i disagree, i kind of love the personal haphazard homespun amateurish quality to the way she posts...i like getting to see the person behind the art as opposed to a curated brand involving third parties

if everything she sang about was real i'd probably look up to her a lot more and be a lot more fascinated in her. a big part of my (and others') fascination with her during the BTD era was that we believed everything she sang about was true bc we knew nothing else about her at this point. then she kind of let go of this persona, which was disappointing.
i do find it incredible though how she literally just plucks these random stories out of thin air and pretends they're about her, you need to have a pretty wild imagination to do that and pull it off in a somewhat believable way

it's just a fun pop song for crappy movie remake it ain't that deep girls! lets at least be thankful that ariana was kind enough to reach out to lana and give her some free promotion because lana really stole the show in this and all the kids are prbly gonna wanna know who she is, also we actually got to see what lana looks like all glammed up in a high budget music video that wasn't shot on a iphone by chuck...let's hope this gave lana a wakeup call and gave her the sense to reach out to other directors for visuals (atleast we have the doin time video)

idk why but Ariana and Miley seem like the crazy best friends and Lana seems like the awkward cousin that was invited to the party.......

I loved the video and Lana's bridge, I was afraid they wouldn't let her shine but it really captures who she is. I hope the rest of the song grows on me more

Lana released Hope in January, which was a very, very rough time in my life-- heartbreak, near-death of people close to me... that song was the soundtrack to the beginning of this new year because it could communicate the suffocating darkness I was in better than I could.
Anyways, I'm doing moderately better nine months later, but listening to that song is enough to feel my world close in on me again, to feel the cool January air as I walked for hours alongside the near-frozen river and contemplated jumping in. But I listen anyways.
