I mean..... if we can get some ad libbed high yodeling vocals from Lana like she used to do with her jazzy vocals back in 2011/2012/2013 live shows but in STUDIO TRACKS.... maybe i'll be on board for a Lana x Nikki album yup i said it

I agree this album is pretty solid. Hallucinogenics kind of works somewhere near the end of the album too, if you just cant get enough of the early morning sun energy exuded throughout the lot of the album. Definitely prefer this to Norman Tin Can.

also this is the first album since Honeymoon i havent felt the need to rearrange, its just sooo uniform.

i didn't initially mean it as one so i didn't bother to check, but actually thank you SO much, i seriously might be interested in going  even if it's just nikki which it likely will be
 
and the funny thing is i've actually been to that venue before, so it's not that far away and i can definitely go if i want

I’m not a Jack Antonoff fan because I’m hearing similar regressions in  St. Vincent’s artistry since Massseduction and St. Vincent has way more musicianship than Lana does. So if Lana is responsible for picking the (basic) chords/sounds with no formal training, then what does that say about St. Vincent? That can’t be right 

Having 2.5 albums of lush pop (BTD, HM, parts of LFL) but getting like 3 albums of folk/country is testing my limits ngl

i said it once and i'll say it again, give me some 'Before He Cheats' action or The Chicks kind of vibe. like we all know Lana isn't going to go full country, just... "Lana country".
I want her to put her own spin on the genre and make it really fiery, like a user above said. Hey Blue Baby is a perfect example of this. and Nikki can do fast songs!

This album is gonna be so reliant on producers to make or break it. VG and Ride are country songs at heart, sure, but the instrumentation is what makes it so alt-pop
