Personally I wasn't trying to not be but there's evidently some nerve that's been inadvertently struck, so I apologised and we can hopefully move on
People need to stop attacking others for having less than favourable views on Lana, though
This is not an apologist echo chamber and the people who are always so outraged and concerned about Lana's feelings are always the first ones to pile on ordinary users without any regard
Like people are still coming for @House of Balloons 17 pages later and it's frankly pretty pathetic
Whether you agree with them or not is beside the point

Okay but the defence here when she posted the video was, "she wants her REAL FANS to know why she's leaving and her REAL FANS will understand!"
And now that's changed to, "She's posting on Honeymoon because she wants the audience to be her REAL FANS!"
If that's the case then there was no need to make a big kerfuffle about leaving (but as @Yosemite said, very Cancerian)
She's basically done the equivalent of someone on this board posting a big dramatic status about how they're leaving, and then they go on voluntary leave instead of just logging off and THEN they come back 2 months later exactly the same as they were before 
Anyways imo she'll be back on her main next week or something so this isn't worth discussing further
 
 

I mean for me it's less about elitism/favouritism/privacy than it is about the fact that she posted this big dramatic video about leaving sm with the subtext that it's toxic and takes up too much of her time and now three weeks later she's back on there posting content on a private account that she'd usually post on her main anyway
So to me it all seems very unnecessary, because nothing has changed except the account she's posting on. For whatever reason, it's making many fans feel excluded (and that's valid and people are allowed to feel that way)
And the goody two shoes can defend her all they want on the basis that they UnDeRsTaNd and she was thinking this or intending that, but those are her actions and you can't dispute them

I think it represents false hope and broken promises, and just general disappointment of when things don't go the way you want them to. In the song she explains that this guy promised to come back every May and help paint her banisters blue, but he doesn't come, so her sisters come and paint them green and grey to help her move on from the past. Given that she's said this album is about her whole story, I think the title makes a lot of sense. There's a lot of stress surrounding her past and how she's been treated, and it seems like she'll be exploring a lot of those feelings. Hopefully the process of this record has helped her paint those blue banisters of her life green and grey 
 

But then it's unfair to blame her brother only, that is what I meant.
Whether you like the video or not is a matter of taste, the comments on Youtube were very positive anyway.

I'm so sad this is an unpopular opinion.
I love CoCC, i think it's so well structured, the songs are so beautiful, it makes me want to be driving through the countryside with the sun pouring through the windows, wind blowing in my hair with my (daydream) lover looking out the window and we're on our way to nowhere. It's honestly been my go-to study music album, I love it so much

Chemtrails is actually a really good album. I agree that the production is not the strongest point but her voice and melodies carry the songs enough to make a nice record. 

Honeymoon is the soundtrack of Heaven. God streams Honeymoon and so should you 

HM could be the soundtrack of an unmade James Bond movie

I said her most cohesive - not that it was 100% cohesive at all times in every way.
 
For the record, 24 and HBTB do fit with the album. 24 carries on the theme of time and it has a bold, warm sound that matches other songs such as Salvatore. HBTB has trap elements like Art Deco and it carries on the theme of issues relating to fame and relationships. Plus we all know that Interscope told Lana to make a more radio-friendly track and HBTB is what she came up with.
 
Are UV and Sirens really your favourite albums if you can’t twerk to them?

I really wish it was better-received, as the point she was trying to make was really quite valid x

Talking about her lyricism:
I don't know if it truly is an unpopular opinion, but I never quite figured why people think Lana romanticize abuse or sadness. I've never ever in my life as a fan wanted similar relationships because, well, being in love with a cheater or an abuser... sucks? 
I can understand how people can be inspired and would want to suffer the sadness, pain and heartbreak of an abusive relationship (you know how people mimic celebrities, and not only teenagers btw), but blaming it solely on Lana's lyricism is a little unfair. I've always had the feeling that sugarcoating her words is just a way to cope with her feelings, like magnifying the pain so it seems less unconquerable.
For real, I don't know how you can listen to Ultraviolence or SAD Girl and think "wow, I want to be that girl so much and live the same life" when you can feel the despair in her voice.
Even the so-called glamorous lives narrated in Born to Die seem full of pain. When you scratch the glossy veneer, everything's dark and melancholic. I think the problem is, people are obsessed by aesthetic. They differentiate looking glamorous and the real feelings behind the mask, when in Lana discography, it goes hand in hand. Carmen is a perfect example for me, as she describes how fun her life can seem, when she actual feels like dying: it's like, you know, thinking beautiful people have it easy in life just because they're beautiful, but in reality, they feel miserable for many reasons.

Stans whose favorite albums are Honeymoon or COCC tend to be the coolest/nicest out of everyone. They’re not my top albums but I can admit their stans are the most pleasant 

Chemtrails is her best album and Honeymoon is her second best album. 

'Text Book' and 'Blue Banisters' are ahead of their time and her best songs ever.

it feels way too hollow & forced, yayo probably means a lot to her, but i think the original version was absolutely perfect, i honestly don't think the song fits the sorrowful, opulent sound of btd/paradise, it fits the folk/torch sound, it's especially worse with haynie's samples, i feel similarly with million dollar man, the demo was perfect because it fits simplistic production better, the final version sounds too over-produced & "processed"

Actually LFL isn't a 5 star title track, Blue Banisters is miles better imo. The only thing I dislike about it is the abrupt start, otherwise, it's a solid 4,5 out of 5 stars
