In all honesty, all I really want is the cover and tracklist. Actually, I wouldn't mind if she didn't drop any song before the album's release

So anyways: seeing as the date is coming closer and closer I think she'll either release one song one month before the album and then announce tracklist and cover along with it OR she'll first give us the tracklist and cover and then possibly a song for pre-release later. I kinda dont want a pre-release song tho idk there is something about not knowing what an album sounds like at all that is appealing to me

Here's the thing, dating a cop really isn't a simple concept. It's very complex, especially when someone like Lana (who attended these protests to show support towards BLM), is dating one.
 
Simply put, the whole police system is America is absolutely messed up. Even if some cops claim to be good, they still stand with other cops who are corrupt. It's like men who say they're feminists but are still friends with their 'bros' who are pervs or rapists.
 
The whole police system was made purely to keep black people in check when they were freed as slaves (watch Angelica Ross' livestream on it, it's very good and informative). So even if cops claim to not be racist, they still stand WITH racists, which is a form of racial microaggression. 

Just because someone may not deliberately be hurting people, it doesn't mean they should be impervious to criticisms.
 
Lana clearly does not think about how her privilege benefits her, normalises the problem and takes something away from others.
And actually, she clearly IS bothered when people call her out. So much that she will backlash with a stream of comments or ignore it & silently suffer. I wish she'd learn, which would also prevent her from going through this again, but she just ain't.

i dont care. she went to a blm protest to show support for a cause that is in direct opposition of everything sean stans for. if she's dating him AGAIN, it shows just how performative her activism actually is and that she doesn't give a single shit about black people dying.

She could be going down the satirical or ironic route. Tulsa "Jesus Freak" gives me vibes that she's making fun of him and the backwards nature of Tulsa?

The NFR album cover is her most elaborated yet, it even references three songs, MAC (You lose your way, just take my hand/You’re lost at sea, then I'll command your boat to me again), The greatest (LA’s in flames it’s getting hot) and FIILY (I like to see everything in neon). This album cover has an actual concept, unlike her other albums where she’s basically standing in front of a car. Only the HM one is more elaborated, but there’s not much depth in any of her other album covers.
But if you prefer covers like BTD where there’s basically nothing, you do you. I just hope Nicole’s skills with photoshop improved because she did Lana’s face dirty on BTD

I could see the record sounding similar to ‘Andromeda’ by Weyes Blood. It sounds like an extension of California and some of Lana’s folkier tracks melody and rhythm wise but with some surfy guitar riffs, lush strings and a touch of psychedelia. Maybe a bit of country-rock swing without being tacky. It also has a classical feel and composition and I would love for Lana to explore that sound in depth!
