i've always thought that if some songs on LFL had been released as a separate EP i'd appreciate it so much more

its bloated, clunky, too many uncohesive genre changes, questionable production engineering [cocoroach-ella... literally what is that?!] etc
 
 If it was released as what it was indented [ie the recently leaked demos of the songs like Love and the title track, Architecture, Yosemite] it would probably be her best album. There are many songs I love from the album but it feels more like 3 EPs in one playlist

I kinda regret already voting for my fave songs. I usually make up my mind about songs during the first few weeks post-release. The entire album is a grower for me. It's really personal, much more personal than any other album she has released since 2012. DBJAG was the only song that really moved me, WD, TJF and COCC are great, the rest still has to grow on me.

Well the video was... a video. She looked great. The skater in the desert imagery is pretty beautiful but cause it's not her it's just like okay sure. Having the masks in the video is dumb af like there's no reason for it the extras weren't even needed

I honestly forgot that a LMLYLAW music video existed so I guess that the worst one of hers for me.
 
I just wonder why they put the Lana substitute in a dark wig when she’s singing about being 19 in a white dress, wouldn’t it make more sense to let her wear a blonde wig?  It was a cute video though, even with Lana’s broken arm.

Ok the White Dress MV is so gorgeous and stunning I just cannot stop watching it. I think it is my favorite Lana MV and I really love a lot of her MV’s. It’s also one of my favorite songs Lana ever released, and now with the video it is just so perfect.
 
PS fuck Alex Petradis at the Guardian for ONCE AGAIN nuking Lana’s Metacritic score. Like every fucking time Lana puts out an album this man is waiting to trash it and give her her lowest score. Next album cycle we seriously need to organize a campaign to tweet, mail letters, make phone calls etc to the guardian to demand they get someone less biased to write their review. It is so bullshit that they keep allowing this man who clearly dislikes Lana to keep writing her reviews. 

This video would be so much better if she did it Lizzie Grant style. It would still be tacky and cheap, but at least it would make sense 

She could have included Lizzy Grant footage, like said above, family footage, and it would have been better than watching three randoms with masks on doing nothing.
