I agree wholeheartedly, but she is always insisting that she didn't mean whatever it is she's posted and that she meant something else, which is why I think she needs help with that.

as much as i'd like to believe that big change is coming, protests exactly like these happened when treyvon martin died and there was no big sustained change in america

yes but i feel like these protests are bigger, and potentially more powerful than the ones in 2012. I didn't pay attention back then, since i was rather oblivious to those events, and political events of any kind, but i just feel now it's different.

i don't doubt the fans in that chat said a lot worse to provoke her... but imo, it seems like a control thing.  she was trending worldwide, and no matter how many times she corrected herself (which was rly just doubling down) people were coming for her no matter what.  it was almost like she was so helpless,  and telling off the whole internet or random ppl attacking her would've done nothing.  so she went to people she knows she could rattle by acting that way, to feel as though she was gaining a tiny bit of control over the situation back.

If you think about it, none of the users in the groupchat really had a reason to release the screenshots. Yeah for us we were super confused and wanted to know but all the members of the groupchat already know what's up and they don't owe us anything. groupielover talked about how it really took an emotional toll on him and it was probably in all of their best interest to just move on and pretend i didn't happen

She had so much to say about how much she cares about the black community when she was trying to prove how not racist she is.... radio silence from her when the black community is in crisis though
