Yeah those stans are annoying, but Lana should know that they’re children who worship her and it’s irresponsible to lash out at them/unfollow them without any closure. Some of these kids are like 16-17. She should’ve just unfollowed and moved on, not lashed out at them as if they have a personal relationship. Idk it just feels very weird to me.

what's funny to me is that the majority of "popular" insta stans (including the ones in that pathetic gc) have leaked stuff, talked shit abt lana, talking abt her private life, etc or were involved in it in any way but the second lana goes off at them they suddenly feel sad and attacked lmfao make it make sense

Side note I dont really think taking sides with this makes sense. Like I'll still be listening to Lana for years to come, the artist she mentioned in her post (besides bey and Nicki) not so much. Same with fan accounts its not like I follow any of them besides honeymouns. I pretty she only followed them to babysit and to tell them to delete shit. This is really just a ki with the girls for me at least.

I dont think lana will ghost us, but I think she is tired of headlining festivals and performing at big venues with thousands of cameras on her. I think she misses the freedom she had early on. Maybe with her burning these bridges with other artist, celebrities, and fans, she'll get it back.

it's not that we want an apology. It's that we want her to see that the reasons people were upset were valid, because they were... Even if her post was genuine (which I believe it was), the truth is she namechecked 6 women of color without actually being aware of those specific women's histories of being highly criticized. Their music has been and continues to be criticized.
 
As someone who has unconditional fan support, she should know that fans are not critics. And thus number 1's do not mean, unconditional acceptance.
 
Her refusal and doubling down is a slap in the face, because she's refusing to see the merits of these arguments. If she had let it be, she might have avoided needing to apologize but this second post is really really disappointing.
