I can't believe I had a life before I started following this thread and now I feel like I'm in a Black Mirror episode 

the album is 5 days away. at this point if she hasn't said anything about it, she's probably not going to until the day it's supposedly releasing.

I just don’t see why we think the girl that has shot all but two of her last like 10 videos on iPhones on random streets and beaches in California is all of a sudden booking sound stages and shooting on sets...during covid 
 
I think the stuff yesterday was definitely her but I’m not convinced this is yet, it looks like a tv show set 

I'm a little annoyed and confused as to why this is only happening now though, 5 days before the album. It would've been nice if all of this was shot before so it could've been released during the rollout this week. It's making me feel skeptical. Plus i want something to be excited about. You can't be excited about something when there's doubt involved, it completely waters down the experience of hype. She needs to announce it now if it really is coming this weekend.
This release is so messy, it's not a normal album release and it's not a surprise release. Like what even is it? At least NFR had a normal rollout towards the end.

the way she does homemade videos when is everything okay in the world and high budget videos when we are in a middle of a pandemic

I hope not... I feel like she's gonna get dragged for the reference no matter what, even if it was a shady diss track about him...

I really don’t think she’s d*mb enough to film at a police station unless it’s some sort of shady reference to Sean. Even then she should keep it because no one’s in the mood to see anything cop-related rn.

it's so freaky and exciting to me that we barely know anything about this album... the sound... the aesthetic... THE TRACKLIST... i think the tracklist is what i'm anticipating most, the song titles this era have been so interesting, i'm excited to see what she's came up with this era.

That reviewer is f*cking with us and honestly, that's even worse than posting that fake review in the first place

she will probally delay the album and give something asthetic good to shut down the gays complains

why would her team send the album to some third rate reviews website and not a bigger site/publication like pitchfork, stereogum, etc? and the review is so vague it could apply to any pop record.

I agree, I don’t think she was holding back in the beginning either. I think she started holding back after she received so much criticism. She played it safe with NFR and was praised. She didn’t win the Grammy and I honestly don’t think she cares anymore. I don’t think she’s going to hold back on COCC bc of what she said in the question for the culture Instagram. She said we would be hearing more of her thoughts on that topic. She was attacking the culture in the post. Who knows though.
