Get Drunk

The three singles are all excellent so I'm willing to trust her on this era, even if it resembles NFR/Chemtrails but I want some sort of hint at progression. I don't mind NFR/COCC incorporation but if it doesn't show any sort of evolution towards the end of the album, I'll be a little annoyed, even if the songs are amazing. But as I said, the three songs have me pretty hopeful (especially the ending of WW).

I'm glad to see she's growing. I've enjoyed both NFR and chemtrails a lot! And in the spirit of appreciating her musical growth, we encourage her to move on from her current soundscape that she's kept for 2 era's I'm a row. 
She'll never be BTD, or any of the previous era's. Map of LA is keeping me on my toes. It's gonna serve like it hasn't serve this era something new. 
 

The way AKA, BTD, UV, HM, LFL, NFR, COCC and BB are all so different because they are DIFFERENT eras (and different moments in Lana's life) but also they share SOME similarities because is the SAME person behind them

When Lana actually posts everything today and this thread has been a pre-pre-release thread for only a day after weeks of discussions 

Lana literally evolved the most between BTD and PAradise and Ultraviolence and even Honeymoon, all those albums sound wildly different from one another, I’m not saying I want her to make another record with “that same old sound” I want her to reignite the fire she used have under her ass that got her to create entirely new soundscapes every era for those first few years
 
Using less and less instrumentation with a less larger sound and basing everything around a piano is not “evolving”, it’s being stagnant 
 
 

it really would!! i love the idea of a classic lana sound with just a little added groove - i really think that collab would be MAGIC 

Not that long ago she wrote, produced and then unfortunately cut ‘Serene Queen,’ which certainly had a groovy, high tech/techo, studio-manipulated sound. 
 
She might return to a broadly similar sound at any time, at least for a few cuts.
 
I admit that, though I loved almost all of COCC, after most of NFR! and the three recent singles, I’m personally pretty tired of the slower, piano-ballady tracks. 

OK but for real...I think Lana with Tame Impala production would slap.
 
Also if piano is still prevalent on BB I hope it'll be sonorous and haunting (which apparently could be the point since the first seconds of the Map of LA snippet sound low-key dark)
