Just listened to Roses Bloom For You per mentions in this thread and omg I literally NEED her to release this in Blue Banisters. It’s such a gorgeous melody. She has so many great unreleased songs, it’s actually painful. How did I miss this gem???

omg NICKI MINAJ just released and also J Cole who idgaf about because it’s not melodic... but he’s still a major release. A newbie like Olivia Rodriguez can release her music during covid because she’s trying to establish her fame rather than trying to sell concert tickets, but I feel like A-listers are saving their material for the post-covid world because they want fresh material to sell concert tickets. Finally today the CDC said fully vaccinated people can stop wearing their masks, tons of music festivals in the last weeks just announced they are not cancelled and dropped their lineups, and now today Nicki and J Cole dropped. I feel like A-listers have all just been sitting on their music and today is the first day of a FLOOD of blockbuster summer releases. I hope Lana did the same,  like COCC was the cute Covid album for her fans to listen to at home, and BB/RCS is the huge songs to top the charts and play at concerts and festivals. But even if BB/RCS is incredible, Lana is going to have huge competition this summer. I fully trust Lana can deliver, I just hope her management/marketing team is effective, and I hope society can notice and appreciate whatever she puts out.

When album 3 is a collaboration with Trisha Paytas under her Sadboy2005 alias - Dealer is on that album

Thinking about how Mike Dean could potentially have producing credits on Rock Candy Sweet. Really got me thinking about something colourful, vivid, and electric. Inspired me to make this - manifesting! 

 

The way Marina released two singles, an album cover and tracklist for her album which comes out June 11th meanwhile all Miss Lana has given us is precisely two song titles for her album which comes out June 1st
 

it’s funny bc Lana has always been consistent with the fact that she hates having her story rewritten by other ppl and then a portion of her stans sit on tiktok all day straight up making up lies about her life

yeah i see this a lot, they say it's disrespectful to bring up the album cause lana never wanted it to be heard even tho LDRAKALG was put on streaming platforms back in 2010 and it only got removed because she garnered no success from it. they literally pull so much stuff out of their ass to make it seem like her life was terrible back then but she said she was happy when writing it and living in the trailer park so

I could see a delay but I don’t think it’s gonna go so far as next year. I think Lana wants to get this one out while she still feels passionate about it, and if it does in fact deal with criticisms she faced it’d be dumb as hell to wait until people stop caring as much and then bring all of her bad press up after the fact. It would just make her look bad. 

Just because im on team delulu im gonna have to disagree. her label obviously had big plans since we got two non-homemade videos for chemtrails, multiple physical format variants, ldr village, and more ideas that are yet to be executed. however there’s a chance she’s going to delay it but i just can’t accept the possibility of that

Normally I’m not one to say things like this because I believe everyone is valid as a fan, but I really dislike how so many of these types of people (usually on Twitter) dismiss some of the music by saying “FLOP TILL WE DIE IS BORING AJSJNSJDHAH *insert random female artist* OUTSOLD” and it makes me wince. That’s so disrespectful to the art. You don’t have to love every single song but people don’t have to be immature about it lol! That’s why I’m happy that Lana will continue to go deeper with the music and not cater to the parts of her fanbase that will not even try to appreciate it/understand it - regardless of age (although it is mostly 15 year olds).

I can’t believe some of ya’ll still haven’t seen the light yet, summer bummer and groupie love are bops and ahead of their time, her best collabs in my opinion. That’s a fact sweetie
